Seen today: a very rare 2002 only New Beetle Sport Edition. These were introduced in the US in 2001 and imported to Europe a year later directly from there, with sidemarkers and all. Only available in two colors: silver and black (which is what I saw)

I actually spotted another one two years ago (with picture) and thought it was a Beetle Turbo that someone had imported.
