That aqua green was one of the preferred colours during the launch of that Polo, along with a light green metallic and a peach/apricot colour. Press shots, brochure photos, and the first cars delivered to dealerships were often in these two shades of green.

And then actual customers ordered their actual car, and in Belgium, more often than not, it came in that slightly purplish dark blue, or in a rather dull metallic grey. And the launch colours faded away from the streets...

It's like the early Citroën DS3 painted in Bleu Botticelli (a.k.a. swimmming pool blue). I saw two of them in the first year, and then nothing. Just vanished.
