(UPDATE 17/12/09) Help Identify Diecast toy Vehicles
Published 18/12/2009 @ 09:44:44, By stronghold
:biere: Thanks for your help Guys!
I may not be on the site for a couple of days, as my Mum was rushed into Hospital last night with a possible stroke (I was there with her from 1am till 4.30 am this morning ...got home about 5.30am & have had about 2 hours sleep!) I'm up now checking my mails before heading around to her house, feed her cats & check all is okay before heading up to the hospital again through all of this heavy snow and icy roads we're having here right now!
Hopefully, if all is well ..i'll be back soon.

Are 1, 2 and 3 from Majorette? Because the wheels seem Majorette to me.

All three cars are made by 'Summer' (summer metal) a Hong Kong based company (Kowloon I believe, I don't know if that's still their HQ?)

#4 looks like a copy of Matchbox's 1988 Chevrolet Blazer

#46 is a 1999+ Ford F-Series Super Duty

#40 appears to be a 1973-1980 GMC K-Series Sierra

#31 looks like a 81-87 Chevrolet K-30

#25 1996-01 Honda CR-V

#20 1999-2002 Chevrolet Silverado (looks like it is a NASCAR edition)

Steve > good to know that your mom is ok now
About the Majorette Dodge firetruck, from what I have read some sites describe it as Dodge, some other just say it is an imaginary vehicle which looks a little like a Dodge. I have the model car but I do not know enough Dodge of these times to know if it is very similar or not

#62 is an artist's concept of a modern (2000s or whenever they restyled the 97 designs) Ford with a 1956 grille design. See for example:

I would be curious to learn the identification of #10. There are too many details for it to be entirely imagined.

Look the bonnet, those sharp lines in the middle, and the C-pillar decorations and rear light shape.

Thanks again to All for your help ...much appreciated  and as said before, When (it's taking a long time to get there!) I do finally get a website set up, i'll give credit to everyone who's helped to ID vehicles.

Steve > good to know that your mom is ok now

Thanks Antoine, all is well now ..just a mad rush about before Christmas trying to catch up on missed days!

I know the pick-up truck with the canvas style covered rear is usually said to be a 'Dodge' (As with you, ive not seen a Dodge like this!), but i've never seen the fire truck written as Dodge also? (If you compare them, they look quite different?)

All three cars are made by 'Summer' (summer metal) a Hong Kong based company (Kowloon I believe, I don't know if that's still their HQ?)

They are still based in Hong Kong, but their production is over the border in Shenzen

Hi Everyone,
Some recent purchases you may be able to help me identify.
These are all from E-bay, over the past couple of weeks.
A set of Pepsi cola bottle trucks from the states (i'd guess, made by Golden Wheels? i've seen another set with the same trucks, but with '7-Up' logos)
There are five American trucks, but only the year is stated on the base.

1/ 1937

2/ 1938

3/ 1945

4/ 1947

5/ 1963

6/ various different views of all the trucks

I would guess the 1945 & 1963 trucks are meant to be Chevrolet coe's?
The others I have no idea.

Also an old 4-door saloon purchased, which i believe is an MG?

Thanks if you can help!

The 4-door saloon at #7 is indeed an MG SA, 1936-9.
