To taxiguy:
Thank you very much for the pictures. You've caught some really rare old cars and luckily they're in a very good condition.

1)Buick Centurion: http://carphotoarchive.wordpress.com/2009/01/10/1971-buick-centurion-convertible-coupe-46667/

2)Ford LTD: Don't worry, I got a rear view of another LTD. http://carphotoarchive.wordpress.com/2009/01/10/1973-ford-ltd-coupe/
By the way, the one you posted, since it has vinyl roof, would that make it a Brougham or it must have the logo too?

3)Mercury Montego: I already had a '74 Montego MX Brougham, and I think that yours is the same one.

4)Ford Taurus: http://carphotoarchive.wordpress.com/2009/01/10/1986-ford-taurus/

5)Geo Prizm (great find, and it's immaculate :D): http://carphotoarchive.wordpress.com/2009/01/10/1989-geo-prizm/

6)Cadillac Cimarron: Thanks for the pics. However, I already had one in the blog.

7)Datsun B210 (Thanks a lot for this one. I just loooove old Datsuns :p): http://carphotoarchive.wordpress.com/2009/01/10/1979-datsun-b210-b210-us/

8)Chrysler Newport: http://carphotoarchive.wordpress.com/2009/01/10/1973-chrysler-newport-hardtop-coupe/

9)Chevrolet Caprice: http://carphotoarchive.wordpress.com/2009/01/10/1978-chevrolet-caprice-classic/
Which are the exterior differences with an Impala of the same year?

10)About the Buick, I couldn't find a rear view of the car, but your pic is great and the car isn't common as well. By the way, weren't "Estate Wagons" renamed to "Electra Estate Wagon" in 1980?

11)Buick LeSabre Coupé: http://carphotoarchive.wordpress.com/2009/01/10/1986-buick-lesabre-coupe/
Congratulations, you found a really good example of that rare car. Which trim level is yours? Custom? Hadn't Limited other hubcaps?

12)Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu: http://carphotoarchive.wordpress.com/2009/01/10/1975-chevrolet-chevelle-malibu-coupe/
Again, another immaculate example of those "Colonnade Hardtop Coupés"

Thanks a lot. Keep sending pictures

To Ingo: I'd be glad to have some pics of your K70 in my blog too ;-).

You want rare and old cars? You get 'em! Out of the collection "cars I drove" :sol:

1958 Pontiac Chieftain 4-door Sedan 6 Passenger

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/58PC84.jpg

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/58PC84rear.jpg

1962 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 (the "fire extinguisher" with horribly ugly boomerang antenna)

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/62r60.jpg

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC-429S.jpg

1974 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado (looked pretty good, but the car was basically an idiot!)

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC-439S.jpg

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC-438S.jpg

1964 Cadillac DeVille Convertible (wrong hubcaps, never got the correct ones, supposedly still looks like this)

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC-641S.jpg

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC-643S.jpg

1968 Checker Marathon (with new tires, I just loved that car! We only had it for a few weeks.)

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC-635S.jpg

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC-634S.jpg

1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible (Incredible condition, had about 7000 original miles! Aftermarket alloy wheels.)

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC-714F.jpg

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC-710F.jpg

1984 Cadillac Seville (the white one was way better, but I don't have pics of it)

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/84Seville.jpg

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC-786F.jpg

1966 Cadillac DeVille Convertible

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC02600.jpg

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC02615.jpg

1968 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 (That was a cool car!)

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC02620.jpg

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC02632.jpg

1969 Cadillac DeVille Convertible (had already forgotten about this one)

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC03163.jpg

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/MVC03166.jpg

1963 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special (My personal favourite of these ones, I drove it a lot and still miss it sometimes... Also played the role of a Chaika in a movie.)

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/DSC00942.jpg

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/DSC00952.jpg

1993 Cadillac Fleetwood (the whale body, we had several of them, but this was the one I drove most of the time. Carries a custom vinyl roof, but is NOT a Brougham.)

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/93Fleetwood.jpg

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/DSC00158.jpg

1960 Cadillac Coupe de Ville (we had at least 3 of them in persian sand metallic through the years, so the color became somewhat annoying to me  )

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/C60CFront.jpg

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/charon-1/C60CRear.jpg

1978 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham (an old banger, but I liked it and had many rides with it. A "boomerang car" that came back every few years just to be sold again! Everybody has owned it once. )

If I remember correctly, that paticular one was simply an "LTD"

9)Chevrolet Caprice: http://carphotoarchive.wordpress.com/2009/01/10/1978-chevrolet-caprice-classic/
Which are the exterior differences with an Impala of the same year?

Yes, the Impalas had a different front end.

10)About the Buick, I couldn't find a rear view of the car, but your pic is great and the car isn't common as well. By the way, weren't "Estate Wagons" renamed to "Electra Estate Wagon" in 1980?

The higher-end ones were, but the cheaper ones were called "Lesabre Estate". I think it'd be a safe bet to call this one an "Electra Estate"

11)Buick LeSabre Coupé: http://carphotoarchive.wordpress.com/2009/01/10/1986-buick-lesabre-coupe/
Congratulations, you found a really good example of that rare car. Which trim level is yours? Custom? Hadn't Limited other hubcaps?

No idea to tell the truth. I don't follow Buicks quite that closely.

Also I checked out your blog and I saw that you are severly lacking of American cars, so I'm going to go out and take some pictures for you so your blog can be more complete.

I went out today but unfortuneately it's very bad weather, so I was only able to get one car for you. But it's a good one! Sorry for the snowiness but the picture is still worth it since it is a very rare car!

O.k., the most of my car-pics are still paper-photos, but a few I can offer.

Here pics of my eBay-file. I used them, when I've sold my dad's 1990 VW Passat Variant GT at eBay in spring 2007. For 400 Euro it went to Russia.

@CCF: it's the regiment's sticker. The car was from the "38. Führungsunterstützungsregiment" in Berlin-Tegel. I let it on the car, because it's more stylish and people, who are knowing the meaning of these signs, will see, that my car is "from the top", because this regiment belongs to the Bundeswehr headquarter in Berlin.

The colour is quite rare, because it's glossy. This was only possible for some general's cars, all other were matt olive.
"Were", because in the last years the Bundeswehr gave up its own passenger-car- and light-truck-fleet. Nowadays they ar using leasing-cars. These leasing-cars are silvermetallic or white with stickers "BW Fuhrpark" on the side. Most of them, i'd seen, were Skoda Octavia, Mercedes Sprinter and for the higher officers Mercedes E-Klasse.

One of the plenty (6 or 7?) bursted tires in Patagonia:

Meanwhile we drank Pisco, the local brandy.

At least something special. We went o a penguin-colony nearby Punta Arenas. While the journey we passed a private car-museum. I was total surprised, when I saw its eye-catcher:
http://www.bilder-space.de/show.php?file=11.01HOxWnH3UdHpZSMD.JPG
Quite surely the most Southern NSU Prinz 4 in the world. Not the most Southern NSU at all - the guy also had a Pinz III in his collection, which I could see in hte local TV. Unfortunately there was no time left to visit the museum.

Thanks for all those pictures!
Specially to animatronixx for that great bunch of American models, to taxiguy for the Malibu and Ingo for that fabulous A210.
I liked your Omega too, but I need a 3/4 front picture as well.
About IRT_BMT_IND: which car is that one that appears in 2 pictures called "paykan"? It looks interesting.
And to marioman3138: I'd like to put your rental Camry Altise, but I've seen in your profile that you know or you've had a long list of models. Have you got pics of them?
And it would be nice if you upload the cars you see in the streets where you live.

Thanks to all. I'll post your pics later because now I'm a bit busy  I'll put the links here.

They are fairly common in Canada, and I will take a photo if I see one.
