The new police interceptors used by the Glasgow police: http://www.flickr.com/photos/45060815@N07/5684351366/

That looks really mean and evil to me.

I'd agree normally but the dark colour, painted wheels and the bodykit make it look a bit that way.

It looks like one of those police cars from a bad movie set in the future where they have had to modify a car available in the present day.

Even worse than the Smart fortwo used by the Italian Police (and maybe even by the Carabinieri too), for patrolling the streets of Capri or Ischia, I don't remember exactly at the moment...

Dove abiti, se posso chiedertelo?
Here in Turin the Municipal Police is obviously full of Fiats: Brava, Stilo, Panda, Grande Punto, Bravo, Ducato, etc. maybe even the Sedici. Previously they had among othersa lot of Uno (second series). And if I'm not mistaken, oddly they have a few Daihatsu Terios...

Why is that a bad choice?
In small streets they would be more efficient in a smart than in a Ford Crown Victoria

Ferrara. BTW the local police here have really strange cars to find in police use like a 90's Fiat Cinquecento, a Skoda Fabia Combi, a Renault Scenic 2, an Opel Corsa [B] and a lot of more that I don't remember or I've not seen

I believe that there are many more "useful" cars, rather than a Smart or a Twizy for example, just to remain in Ischia:

For example, I think a Fiat Panda is more advisable for the local police, because at least has 5 seats and has more internal space (and perhaps even cost less). In my opinion a Smart is just a waste of money for this job.

Indeed who has decided what cars to buy, doesn't had ideas more clear than me.
