It is still good. And for Google indexing, it gives more importance to imcdb's pages, seeing how imdb is well positioned in Google.

Maybe Wikipedia should take a hint. I found links to IMCDb-related pages I created, but I never submitted any of them to IMDb, until tonight when I submitted one from "Best Player." Still, it has made me wonder who did submit them.

Fellows, thanks for the info. Until I saw this thread I didn't know it was possible to do, editing IMDB pages if you get an account from that site. Well, I did it and (if I remember to do it) I'm sending to IMDB the IMCDB link to be added on IMDB's Miscellaneous links.

And it works

Is IMDb still grabbing the xml data regularly? I tried looking up several films added to IMCDb in the past few months, and none of them have links on IMDb. It seems like IMDb stopped updating the data around mid-April :sad:

No, it definitely worked for a time. You could tell by checking the latest contributions, they appeared on IMDb fairly quickly.
