That looks a very interesting place.
I’m posting this January 1999 Skoda Octavia Wagon 1.9 TDI GLX. These pre-2001 models have become rare now, and this is even from the earliest months of the wagon, which indeed is rare with pre-1999 plates, and also uncommon in red.

What country is that in?
11/02/2024 @ 19:57:47: QueenMDX: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
I think that is in Italy, MisterZ.

Also, I'm planning to start driving my family's 2004 Acura MDX.
I'm finally going to begin driving to places on my own now because my parents are going to get a new car for themselves.

Yes, the Octavia is in Italy, but maybe he was referring to Gamer’s pictures?

Gamers pics are from Germany (the yellow thing behind the Rancho is a West German phone box), more precise from Volkswagen-country.
Due at least three large VW-plants around there, VAG-cars are the most common, which makes the Matra-Simca-stuff even more rare.

There is a VW K 70 on Google Street View - from a club fellow, parked in front of his daughters home.
The first Google Earth pics of my former home town (they stayed for over 12 years) were made on a Sunday in late autumn 2004.
Autumn 2004 because empty trees and my Bundeswehr-Omega (bought in February 2004) and my wife's blue civil Bundeswehr-Astra G (bought Sept.2004) in the backyard. In Summer 2005 I moved away, so not newer.
And Sunday, because my wife were with me only on weekends. No Saturday, because no cars on supermarket parkings .

Great weather for a motorcycle vacation. Not a problem for these hardcore riders it seems. The bike with side car in front had a German license plate. The plate on the one in the back was a bit obscured but was probably a German aswell.

well.. one of my friends does have some kind of mini-bike that has about 3/4 of its milleage from winter time ( but on a closed track, not on the highway like that, kind of makes me think of that Dumb & Dumber scene..
)
seen today ( ok, yesterday .. ) : BMW 535i , E34 . Right in front of me.. its been a little while..

Ecoboost convertibles are uncommon here in Australia. The vast majority (85%) are GT fastbacks.

Drove behind a Nissan Pixo on my commute today. Never knew these were sold here.

Discovered a new make today.
Seres - just another Chinese EV competing in the oversaturated Norwegian market. Costs about 100k more than the MG Marvel R, which already does reasonably well here in that segment. Due to the harsh winter, hybrid and fossil cars have experienced a renaissance lately so I'm wondering if it will fare as well as the other Chinese cars here, but what do I care - it looks like another wannabe Tesla clone to me - and named after an old Kia truck, at that. But hey, I shouldn't pass judgment.

We have Seres in Belgium too, apparently. I've never seen one on the road, but there's an importer, specialized in chinese stuff.

One mess of a website, even though it's, and I quote, "a conscious creation" by some webdesigner.
