Hot Rods to Hell was a lame and boring movie. Why isn't The Getaway listed? Or Grand Theft Auto? Those were much better than Hot Rods to Hell.

27. Against All Odds (1984) <-- needs work?

Yes, the page is not complete: two main cars were added by Mozinor and I added some from a chase that CarChasesFanatic sent me. So only few minutes of the movie were "processed".

I wonder what Hot Rod's criteria were ? Number of cars (e.g. "Blues Brothers"), or action involving only a FEW cars (e.g. "
Bullitt"). IMHO, the BEST EVER car movie was "Tin Men", with Richard Dreyfuss and Dany de Vito ...but that's because Cadillacs abound in it!

I recorded Thunder Road. The revenuers are driving a 57 Chevy at the end and the car used for the big wreck is a 57 Ford Fairlane (500?). At first Bob Mitchum's character has a 49 or 50 Ford. I don't know a lot about uploading pics, but I would like to do this one. I would also like to create a site for only vehicles used in the Lassie TV series.

I saw Hot Rods to Hell. The father's car is a 1961 Plymouth and there is a souped-up 58-60 Corvette that chases them. A minor role is played by a 1959 Oldsmobile 98 that is later wrecked as a result of the hot rod kids who mistake it for the Plymouth as they are terrorizing the father's family who is traveling by night across the desert to find the police.

I don't know. Maybe the vehicles were too standard for their tastes?

:boggled:
Just a guess, BTW.

Oh, as for Greased Lightning (1977), that movie had a mid-1970's Ford F-Series in the pit during a scene with a race that took place in 1965. It still sucks that it isn't on DVD.
