In the 70's or 80's a driver is hired to drive some contraband with a muscle car
through the desert to Mexico (I think drugs), then he returns through the desert
back to the starting place, hunted, by the police and by the
ones who hired him, culminating with a shootout in some warehouse. Also not sure: he drove a white muscle car and seeks
revenge on his employers for betrayal or something. Also not sure: the title was
made up of two words and it was poetic or something.

It's NOT "Vanishing point". The driver survives the movie and he doesn't do x-country, but from the US to Mexico and back.
