Subject: [Done] Daimler SP250

I uploaded a picture for my SP250 that was in Heartbeat TV series a while ago - it isn't appearing on the main SP250 thumbnail page. It is there as part of a comment if you click through though? The picture was taken on set during filming so thought it would be of interest, rather than simply a pic of my car after the event.

Why is this?

Also, there is a comment from someone that they think my car is not a 1962. I can confirm it is a 1962 B Series I am in the SP250 Owners Club and the car is registered with the Jaguar/Daimler Heritage Trust so know that it is complete and true in every respect.

Many thanks for putting the thumbnail correct if poss.

I'm happy your car is a 62 - my comment is simply that the visible dateable features of the car match as far as I can tell a 1961 onwards SP250. We don't have an SP250 expert amongst our happy band, so this was designed to help whoever stumbled upon the page next time and/or may have been looking for diagnostic clues between the various Series of SP250.

As for why your photo is used as a comment rather than as a main photo, our system is to only use screened footage for main pictures. All supporting evidence goes as comments/thumbnails. Your photo and information are fully appreciated - I've no idea why we don't have a main photo from screened footage - any info on which episode it appeared in (number or title) in case our dedicated Heartbeat fans can track it down? Also can you give us the registration number?

As dsl pointed ^above, main picture pages are only for car pictures 'really' seen on movies and TV Series.

We see now you are the proud owner of this gorgeous classic and we can add your user nick in a field for that but I see you are not IMCDB member yet. If you want, you can log-in on the site and, later, leave here a comment about your user nick you use on the site. It could be the same as here 'iPolko' (I prefer this option).
