I take that this Argentinean Dodge has been converted to convertible by the owner
Did you enjoyed this show
20/03/2012 @ 01:52:23: Gomsel: EXPO AUTO Argentina 2012
Yes, indeed. I enjoyed, because i'm a collaborator in the expo.
Looks really good the Dodge, maybe you also like the Fairlane V8.
I still uploading pictures... and i hope to add videos.

Excellent pics - the weather pixie was obviously in a very good mood. I like the elegant red Fiat 1500 coupe. Interesting to see the nose badge of a Lotus 7 in the 128 photo at the end - import or some local collaboration? And in an unexpected link between UK and Argentina, the IES Gringo is clearly the inspiration for Sir M*les Ax*lcr*p.

Indeed, very interesting stuff. I particularly like the very top car, the Justicialista.
The Swiscyclo reminds me of a British kit car the Pembleton Brooklands:
http://img.webme.com/pic/d/ds-ev/pembleton01.jpg which also came with a Citroen motor (though not in my link which looks like a bike motor), though I'd imagine any connection between the two is purely coincidental.
Bit of discussion about the Argentinian Lotus Seven here:

Have one Lotus Seven, made by Lotus Argentina.
The red it's a Target, a local-made copy. The owner of the red car it's from my city.
The Lotus in the picture, have the engine for the Fiat 1600.
PS: thanks to all for the nice comments.

SIAM di Tella 1500 has nice comparison of Riley style front (grille, wrap-round trim) against MG (different grille, no wrap-round), both used exactly as UK (both fronts were unchanged between ADO9 and ADO38) apart from grille badges and local bumper styles. Red pick-up looks likely to have Riley front (the only UK version with wrap-round) and has the pointy tail-lights of ADO9 (Austin/Morris/Wolseley) which was carried through to ADO38 Austin/Morris estates only. And it's always good to see lots of Avengers - apart from the VW changes and boyracer wheels, all trim detail looks exactly like UK sequences.
22/03/2012 @ 18:10:36: Gomsel: EXPO AUTO Argentina 2012
Agree. According with CocheArgentino, the early 1500 was based in the Riley 4/68 (Pininfarina design) and the Di Tella Magnette in the Morris Magnette MK IV.

Pity, but none Siam-made Thornycroft Trusty in the expo.

Di Tella Magnette in the Morris Magnette MK IV.
The link should be MG Magnette (not Morris - the only Morris version was the Oxford which had different grilles).

Okay, agree.

MG does stand for Morris Garages (and definitely not Modern Gentleman) hence the confusion.
