In my opinion they should be self-determining

These fellows kept quiet since a while: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_Wales_Army
@Andre: they derived their right to fight also from the Britsh (rather Anglo-Saxon) imperialism. From 1000 years ago...

Btw.: the Anglo-Saxons were imperialists in their own actual country, too, as they dispelled the native Kelts http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celts , Picts http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Picts and Caledonians http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caledonii (whose also came from Central Europe for settling Britain).

To make more confusion, it's to point out, that the Anglo-Saxons weren't -s their names say- origin British neither. The came from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angeln and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saxon / http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Albingia

Recently scientists have found out, that the genetic code of habitants in Southern and Southeast England is nearly identical with native Northern Germans and not with the Scottish. The Scots again have a similar gen-code as the Norwegians.

To make an IMCDb-compatible abbreviation, let's say:
- Sandie and Lateef are ancient brothers
- as Andre Malraux and ElSaxo
- maybe there were connections between dsl -a Brummie- an me
- annother of mine family-lines http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teutonic_Knights made imperialism to Weasel's and 130rapid's ancestors http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Prussians -or maybe their ancestors agains those Prussians, too)
and a time later both had to hold against the imperialism from atom's ancestors:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thirty_Years'_War#Swedish_intervention_.281630.E2.80.931635.29

After the Swedish disappeared annother part of my family, expelled by sixcyl's ancestors ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huguenot ) settled over there.

Plus the little apostille, that, if history would be equitable, my wife would be at her place: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria,_Crown_Princess_of_Sweden (@atom: I'll let you know before, when I start my own imperialism :banzai: )

Two days ago was the Viktoria day and I didn't even have the chance to drive my Victoria

Oh, you celebrate name days? May I ask, if you are Catholic? In Germany only Catholics have name day. I needed to look at Wiki, to see, that in the German-speaking area my name day is the 21.December.

(absolutely no offence for Argentinians, but the surname Bergoglio is quite popular here in Piedmont...)

Has his familiy Italian roots? The Brazilian Cardinal, who had been in the competition, too, has German roots, to the Saarland exactly. "Scherer" -the German name for a (sheep)shearer- is a quite common surname there. As I read in the newspaper, he still can talk an ancient dialect from there.

Right now in Germany there's a historically and politically not correct equation, as there's a discussion about a "Romanian invasion". An incident, which causes big social and ecnonomical problems in the related areas, rougher quarters in poorer towns, like Duisburg and Dortmund.
Those "invaders" have mainly Romanian, also Bulgarian papers (if they have papers at all), but they all are gipsies, Romani people. Annother reason to mix the names up: Romani/Roma (in German) with Romanians. Many Germans does not make a difference, so it's bad for the reputation of all Romanians.

Unfortunately, it's exactly how you say. In gipsies' language "rom" means "man". It is absolutely ridiculous how they changed their name from "gipsies" to "men", only because they wanted to get away of their bad (and well deserved) reputation. Everybody who sais "gipsy" thinks at something more or less bad. So they thought: "If we change our name, we will fool the people.".

BTW: It's because of them that we are not allowed in Schengen.

do you have known, that Ceasescu has sold citizens?

I knew it. The official explanation was that they studied in Romania for free and romanian state spend money for their education. For instance someone who studied for became engineer, on romanian state's money (which payed his studies because his knowledge would have been useful to Romania which needed engineers, doctors, architects, professors etc., but not necessarily intellectuals), and, after that moved in West Germany, should pay his studies.

Of, course, the official explanation was total bullshit.

BTW, in 2009 we failed to have a german prim-minister, Klaus Iohannis: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klaus_Iohannis .

He was proposed for this job by the new formed parliamentary majority, but Basescu refused to name him prime-minister. Which was TOTALLY illegal. I don't think there is a more grave violation of the constitution. This was the equivalent of a coup d'etat. Only for that (though he did many other things like that) Basescu deserved to be suspended by the parliament. And he was. (And the morons from EU said it's a coup d'etat.) And the decision of the parliament was submit to popular vote. And we voted FOR the destitution. And he came back anyway. This was (chronologicaly) the third coup d'etat of Basescu (who's place is in jail). His second coup d'etat was also in 2009. After the parliamentary elections, came the presidential elections. Officially, Basescu won the elections. With a very, very, very little difference. In reality, the elections were defrauded. At Romania's embassy from Paris, from instance, by the calculations made after the elections, voted some 5 men on second.

Tell that to Angela Merkel, if you meet her, please! She was one of the most enthusiastic and vocal supporters of Basescu, in 2012, when he was suspended.

At the presidential elections of 2009, Mircea Geoana (who I voted), the countercandidate of Basescu, said that, if he wins (and, in fact, he did), he will name prime-minister Klaus Iohannis. I have maximum respect for Iohannis. I can't imagine a better prime-minister. Unfortunately, all my hopes were in vain, because Basescu defrauded the elections.

Seems of yes: http://www.lastampa.it/2013/03/14/italia/cronache/la-lettera-alla-fidanzatina-o-ti-sposo-o-divento-prete-ZcrkL1Lm57mx8FejX6VB0L/pagina.html
Many Italians wanted an Italian pope or a "black" pope.... Well, now all should be satisfied.

Both his parents were italian immigrants. Exactly like in the case of Juan Manuel Fangio (who was the best; him, not Schumacher; sorry  ).

I still believe Ayrton Senna was the greatest of them all  . Alas, he didn't get to live to prove it conclusively.

Both Schumacher and Senna were great talents, but destroyed all respect - from me at least - because of their dirty tactics. Sportsmanship and ethics should still be part of the equation.
