Should "Liftback" added to extra info of all those from your list above?

Probably can be yes.

So I also add "Liftback" to these, like the previous list?
17/06/2025 @ 20:27:51: night cub: Mass change model info thread
You can.

We decided a while back that for models that offered two coupe options, one being a traditional 2-door and one being a 3-door, that the 3-doors should be listed as "Hatchback" class to separate them. This was for Mustangs, Celicas, Corollas, Nissan SX, to name a few.

Some were build in Belgium though, but if not all AUS/NZ models come from there, indeed it should not be mentioned except if the info is sure (e.g. via VIN)
03/07/2025 @ 08:41:13: MisterZ: Mass change model info thread
@antp - yes, most were built in Belgium, but they were also assembled in Australia (from CKD) from mid 1998 until late 1999. Only sedans and wagons were ever built in Australia, all hatches were imported.

I'm actually surprised that the Holden plant had the extra capacity to build Vectras in 1998, as they were flat out building the new VT Commodore at that time, which had a record year in 1998.

antp how would we feel changing the MK5 Mondeo to match the NA spec mK2 Fusion? They are basically the same vehicle and this is what googling says:

The 2nd generation Ford Fusion (2013-2020) was designed under Ford's "One-Ford" global strategy, with design leadership from Ford of Europe. Specifically, Chris Hamilton, Ford/Lincoln's Exterior Chief Designer in Detroit, led the design effort, with support from Ford of Europe's studios in Germany and the UK. The Fusion was built on the Ford CD4 platform.

I guess this would be a candidate for dual origin flags but I guess we can wait until that feature is implemented
21/07/2025 @ 18:52:37: dsl: Mass change model info thread
Agree Mk5 Mondeo was basically the US Fusion Mk2 2 years late. But Mondeo Mk5 is the obvious thing to call it because everyone knows it as that - switching names would cause chaos and confusion.

No problem with dual origin flags if/when we get that facility (but opens up other cans of worms for consistency with eg late Transits which we'd need to digest appropriately). And there may be an argument for Mondeo Mk5 getting CD4 code - I'm agnostic on this. But what we've got at the moment works happily across all our users and their various levels of knowledge, so any changes should work equally happily, or they're not an improvement.
