Hello everyone. Here is my submission for a vehicle in my newest movie, The Truck. It's a road horror film coming out in November. It's currently in post production.

This vehicle is a 1980 Plymouth Trailduster 4WD. It was originally a 318 truck, but now has a 413 big block from a 1960's Chrysler Imperial.

Here is the car we used in the film for our lead actors. This is a 1970 Ford Fairlane 500 equipped with a 302 2bbl.

Hi, thanks for your post and submission.

I'm not sure if they are actually shots from the movie or behind the scenes pictures so I've posted them in comments rather than as the main image.

Is this your account at the main site: http://www.imcdb.org/profile.php?id=aceofspades ?

If so, I guess from your comment here: http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=18985 that it is your personal vehicle (we can add your name as owner of the vehicle). Seems to be a rare car on the site so cool that it appears in the movie.

It's nice to hear from a filmmaker on the site, so thanks once again for your post and information about the film ahead of release.

Yep, that's me! I can get actual screenshots of the truck for the site if that's what's required, I believe I did read that somewhere. (so many sites, so little time, lol)

Here is a screenshot of the actual Ford Fairlane and Camaro used in the film though, I do have that.

were they wrecked ?

you know some us here call producers who ruin classic and meanwhile rare american automotive history as Holywood vandals

The Fairlane took a beating, but survived it. It's going on ebay when I'm done because people are already leaving notes on it wanting to buy it. The Camaro just appeared as a cameo role. No damage, just me driving it. I was able to keep my truck intact and found a "dummy truck" to take it's place for the grand finale.

Even still, you can't call me a Hollywood vandal....I'm not from Hollywood

Nevermind the whiners, we are a few here that love car action in movies, old cars and both combined

excellent

an idea for you if you are interested in a future car movie and have more budget

you know Greydon Clark low budget muscle car movie called "Hi-Riders" ??

what you think of a remake adapted to modern times and since many cars got wrekced if you follow the original just use 80s Camaros/Trans Am, Daytona/Mustang/ Corvette C4 which are now dirt cheap and still plentiful

"which are now dirt cheap"?? lol, yeah.

Not much on remakes, but hey for the right money I suppose I could make any movie.
