Thanks opal

Japanese wiki link doesn't work ( at least to me, gives only japanese writing which leads to more japanese writing on each link i click on ) but its a great start

I'd say it's closer to a Minicab. Meanwhile, the not-Wikia-anymore article mentions a Daihatsu Hijet too.

Anyway, it was intended to be a generic model, nothing more. It's like the upcoming Lolux, a customised pickup with most body panels removed. Because of the pun name, everybody will say it's based on a Toyota Hilux, but it's probably just a generic design.

Hi guys
I recently bought one of these . It is from Maisto and since we can put an ID on most of their designs , i was wondering what this one might be..

Thanks

That's a Voolkswagen truck, the brazilian ones using the LT cab. Or it can be a US version of said truck, rebadged as a Peterbilt or a Kenworth.

With doors like that rather not, I guess. The doors are about the only thing they got right.

The body panels are so flat it looks like a locally bodied vehicle. And there's no way a company from Hong Kong would specifically choose an indonesian vehicle for its next toy car.
