Thanks!

i don't have a pic of it but yesterday i was in Montreal and i saw a strange looking one... looks like a GMC Terrain's Mini-Me in general shape and tail lights but the closest i can think of for the front is a Honda Element . I saw it late due to the
stupid configuration of the boulevard ( i was waiting at the red light and wasn't the first car in front, in the same direction as the bus and that weird thng came from the perpendicular boulevard where the Altima is )
i think i already saw such a vehicle here ( on the main site ) but i don't know its name....

^ Not sure, something like a Toyota FJ Cruiser you think?
Also trying to figure out the year of this Buick LeSabre:

This is background vehicle from "Cadillac Man" (Movie, 1990). Do you know what kind of truck is it?

Looks like an International truck to me... but i don't have enough knowledge to go further than that

Thank you, Baube

@Baube: With your description i would have never suggested the MV-1

Okay, i wouldn't have found it either, but you wrote a really weird description. You should have said "Honda Element front with GMC Terrain rear".
But its a good car for a science fiction movie. Thank you Baube for letting me know of this little beautiful gem. I might include that in my next futuristic book.

I agree with Baube: 1989-2001 International
4000-Series. Most likely a 1989-94 model here, due to the lack of hood side badge.

yep, i should have said this but when i saw it, for a weird reason i thought it was smaller than a Terrain ( after comparing the dimensons, found that the MV-1 is bigger than a Terrain )
Finally found it while checking Montréal taxi ( it was a taxi ) on Google
Glad that my little encounter with a URO ( Unidentified Rolling Object ) gives you some inspiration for a future book.
I can see this vehicle used by a marginal ( if not a

one ) scientist or used by some agency ( or laboratory )

Now i figured out a way to include it. The main character will "borrow" this car to give chase to a terrorist. But that does not end very well for this car.

Not sure if this car has electric drive in real life, but in the book it has.
His main car in that book is the PG Elektrus, thus called "Winter 2.0 W" to avoid legal issues. Winter Industries is my fictional company i already created 10 years ago. The Winter 2.0 W has W-shaped rear lights and its the successor to the Winter 1.0

MV-1's are quite common in NYC, since they're used not only as Taxicabs, but for the MTA's "Access-A-Ride" paratransit program.
To me, they look like bad knock-offs of Austin LX4 Taxis. But they have legitimate purposes, so I'm not as bent out of shape about how they look.

This photo was taken by German soldiers in 1941 in the Crimea. I've never seen such truck before. Can you help me to identify this truck?

Except for small details (grille and square bottom corner of the windshield windows), this truck looks a lot like a 1937+
Autocar U-Something:

send to USSR, did some Autocars follow the same path? If so, that would make this truck part of spoils of war.
