I actually googled that model and it looked different.
Are those the factory taillights?

All Torana LH on Google have the same rear lights, so i say they are the factory ones. I guess the one on Streetview turns out to have rear lights from after market.

I know I'm the one who originally submitted this pic, but if a mod/admin thinks it's not worth listing, let me know and it can be deleted.

if it has some role (as it is listed as 2-star), i guess it is acceptable

This is a still I captured from Terminator 2 (1991). I'm just curious as to exactly what car this is?

Man, you're good. I forgot all about Mitsubishi's US products especially in the 80s.

Some vehicles i'd need some info about
MY range wanted
Abarth 500 695
Citroen 2CV6 . i read they supposed to have square headlights but they forgot to tell this one
The Citroen sadly was involved in a crash when the driver backed up in the post behind it, despite having enough place to leave by going forward and turning a little bit
Triumph Spitfire ? if so.. paper said 1971 ( ithink ) but 1970 had already a newer badge and tailights according to wikipedia
Model name wanted ( 1948 Chrysler )
Same for the yellow 1965 Meteor in my car show post...
What is that ?
Has a GM truck front ( to me ) but the rest don't fit...
And, finally... Backyard Hobby ?

Do you have a better picture of the front number plate? Could even be its original one.
30/09/2016 @ 18:06:51: Baube: Please, help to identify a car.
Sadly , no ...
i didn't thought of that possibility so i didn't really paid attention to the plate...

Abarth should be 1965+ for front-hinged doors. If genuine the red stripe was 69+ 695 SS Corsa/Competitizione, which matches wider arches at front at least. Rear arches are however weird - never seen that sort of boxed shape. Maybe has been re-engined with something bigger which needed wider body - the rear view looks a bit bulging as well.
2CV had rectangular lights 73+, but reverted to round September 81. The rear badge looks a very late format - maybe the final years when production switched from France in 1988 to Portugal until 1990. It looks a late one to me (white sidelights, clean trim) but I'm not expert on these.
Spitfire is a Mk3 - Jan 1967 to November 1970. maybe with 68+ sidemarkers. The Mk4 had the new lights/badges/bumpers.

Thanks for the precisions dsl
another rear view of the Abarth, with engine slightly visible but i'm not sure it will help

Baube the blue car with flames is a 1947-1948 Ford, it's the original 1946-1948 grille. We need a shot from the side to tell if it's a De Luxe Coupe or a Super De Luxe Sedan Coupe.
The 1948 Chrysler is harder if not impossible(?) to give a model name with these pictures. The 4-Door Sedan was available as Royal, Windsor, Saratoga and New Yorker. The difference is the engines, wheel base and equipment.
The production numbers for 1948 was:
Chrysler C38 Royal, Windsor: 93,143
Chrysler C39 Saratoga, New Yorker: 31,573
The easiest way would be to read the badge

Thanks atom
There is so much tuning involving the old vehicles that i really thought it was an early 50's GMC truck front end... mixed to the fact that they all look the same to me..
Good thing the era of " identified by the badge only or that little tiny strip of chrome " time is over..
Sure they are beautiful vehicles but really hard for me to identify...
I don't know if it helps, but a part of the blue Ford can be seen here
same here for the Chrysler, even if like you said, a pic of the badge would clearly had the job done...
By the numbers you gave, odds are better that it is a Windsor ( or Royal )
02/10/2016 @ 04:49:21: atom: Please, help to identify a car.
The Ford is a Sedan Coupe with a longer door and a backseat.
