antp: Not sure if Israel is on your list, but I found this site that can be used to run Israeli license plates. It will return the make/model and the VIN number.

carwow also has an MOT history check tool that can be used to check UK plates.

I think that UK is the country for which there is the most amount of plate checks :smile:

I included only a few on the site, but if some should be removed and replaced by better ones, don't hesitate to suggest some.

A dedicated page created by SAMSAT, which list a collection of active sites for Indonesian plates in each island by province. Each province/regency/ex-residency have their own prefix area code at the beginning of their registrations; refer to Wikipedia to obtain prefix codes for each province-specific site in able to fetch the plate (e.g. West Java site only accept their following prefix codes: F, T, E, D and Z).

I remain to keep the SAMSAT Jakarta link as an alternative shortcut, in case for those who want instantly jump into the Jakarta site than the entire list (besides; until IKN Nusantara has been fully finished and established, Jakarta is still the current capital here).

Feature found / brought to light by somebodyjustlikeme about 2 weeks ago , the canadian Carfax's mobile app can check plates of some provinces . You do have to register to use it . Not sure if it works on laptop / PC but seems it does not on mine . Here's the list of what can be checked or not :

side note : my NT's first try was a police car that gave no results but 2nd plate came back as a 2018 F-150 , so maybe police cars can't be checked , at least for this territory

Bad news for non-Belgians. It's now impossible to check a plate if you don't have a belgian ID card, or the local Itsme authentification app, but that relies on ID cards anyway.

Note that Itsme works with ID cars from other EU countries (but I don't know if it would work on that specific site, though).
