Ooops. My apologies. Antp do we have a section in our links page for sites that we can use to help decode VINs or pull build sheets?

For instance a great site I used to pull Mercedes build sheets is lastvin.com.
vindecoderz.com is pretty accurate with build sheets.
en.vindecoder.pl is also pretty decent.
bimmercat.com provides manufacture date and motor/country destination and chassis code for BMW & Mini Coopers.
http://www.super7thheaven.co.uk/calcs/vin_decoder.htm works for older Fords. Newer ones are sort of iffy.
Bimmer.work used to work but it wasn't working lately for me. If this is the wrong section I apologize and if we do not have a field for these then I can create a page on the forum for them.

I don't think we have such category, but indeed it could be added.
It would be easier to add a few at the same time, maybe try to compile such list in a new thread (in this section "Useful info and links") and I'll add all the links in one time then, in case others have also links to suggest.

Bad news for the Macau plate site : they now ask for a - presumably local - phone number, so you get an SMS for ID verification.

@antp can you please remove the 1st slovakian link page? Or at least see if you can get into the site? I am getting a 403 forbidden error when I click on that link?

Also, can you please add the Polish insurance site: https://beesafe.pl/ - enter the registration details and you have to pick a random date on the calendar portion.

I've been using caranalytics.co.uk for british plate checks for a few years. But now I get an error code 1020, Access denied.

"You do not have access to www.caranalytics.co.uk.

The site owner may have set restrictions that prevent you from accessing the site. Contact the site owner for access or try loading the page again."

Are they blocking any access from outside the UK ? Can anyone check ?

Yes, B is the city plate code for the Jakarta metropolitan area.

What do you think about https://carcheck123.com/ for UK plates?
The owner asks me to add to the list because it returns more info.
The few tests I did seemed indeed return a little more info than those already listed, https://www.mycarcheck.com/ and https://cazana.com/uk/vehicle-check
