They were misaligned in the movie title bars, but I didn't notice that in the car model name they were OK before.

I noticed that the ability to brighten an image is limited to the main image, and not the thumbnails. Should this ability be extended to thumbnails as well?

It is indeed limited to the main image, because additional images open in a new window as a "raw" image: there is no page around it to add any control.
I could add something to open them in a javascript popup, to have the ability to also display a brighten button. That would also be more handy as you can easily close it (rather than having to go back to the page).
If one wants to open an image in a new tab as currently, it would still work, but without brighten button though.

same here , when you get on the page , no pics but when i clicked on the link , i got the pic and when i use the " go one page back " arrow , they show up in the comments

There seem to be some bot "attacking" the forum of my site (antp.be), which is hosted on the same server as comment pictures.
I disabled that forum until that stops (or if I find how to block that).
So comment pictures should work again.

That bot is bothering the thumbs again apparently.

Within the next hours I'll put an update of the site with a few minor changes and fixes.
I'll post more information here at that time.

A few new features and fixes have been applied to the site.

It contains mostly non-visible changes that improve some small details for me (as main admin), and also on security-level (hoping I didn't break anything).
One of the main new features is the option to make a temporary ban with a end date (or not) + message displayed to the user when he tries to access to a feature like contribution, posting pics, etc. The ban can be for posting comments and/or contribution and/or pictures in comment.

It also includes user account management directly from the site. That's not really useful for all of you, as I'm the only one who can make changes to them, but for me it will make much easier to ban a user or activate an account via my smartphone (as before I had to do that in the database directly).

Admins can view the user profiles to see active bans and to which contrib features the user has access. This new screen is available via the "Admin tools" link.

Also for admins, on the page displayed when a vehicle was deleted, if the image is found in the trash, a link is displayed to admins so they can see the deleted image.
When deleting a vehicle, if potential links are found in other comments of the same movie, they are displayed in the confirmation page, so they can be cleaned/updated if needed.

And now the more visible changes:

- comment pictures now show a small icon when hovering it: either a "chain" icon for image linking to another vehicle page, or a "zoom" icon for the regular comment pics.
Comment pics open in a popup that allows to quickly close them rather than having to navigate back to the page (and reload it). Of course you can still open it in a new tab like before. It also allows to have the "brightness increase" option like for main pics.
In mobile the icon is not visible since you can't "hover" the picture with the cursor. So I was thinking about having the "link" icon always visible on mobile to make these kind of pictures recognizable. What do you think?

- most of the pages that include a field now focus the first field by default. So you don't have to first click in the field to login for example.

- while adding the image popup, I cleaned the javascript of other pages, so I hope I didn't break anything (especially in mobile mode).

- profile page edit now has links for picture upload and the the preview button like for comments

not sure if its a bug or in transition but in admin tools , user lists only have 1 name in each list

also not sure of what happens , not a big deal but since about a week , avatars in forum are pretty much gone

No, it was killed by Facebook. Maybe it is possible to replace this by a new version (if one exists) but I'm not sure spending time on that is really worth it, since anyway it is being blocked in more and more countries for privacy reasons.

- Lists in admin tools are fixed
- Fixed a bug with the back/close buttons of the picture popup in "All comments" view
- In picture upload, focus is now on the first control ("Browse") rather than the first text field (URL).

The downside of the popup comment pictures is that it happens quite often to add a new page using one of those pictures: to do so I always have to click and open it in a new browser page now as I need to copy its link. Not so handy anymore if you ask me.
