Pretty mundane I guess, but at the Italian consulate in Toronto I spotted a Daihatsu Terios,Hyundai Matrix and an Alfa Romeo 147 in the parking lot. I should probably go take a picture of them since I pass by the consulate most days of the week.

Not all people with diplomatic status are driving mundane cars.
In the early 90ies there was often parking a car with diplomatic plates (i forgot the combination to identify the country) close to my former office - it was a rotten and rusty 1980 Fiat Panda.

When I was riding my Motorbikes (1980's) I used to carry a small 110 camera in my pocket & stopped to take photo's of any unusual cars/bikes I saw on my travel's.
I'll dig a few out & post them here.
ps- I tried to get film for that same camera last year, and only found out they'd stop making that type of cartridge film lonnnggg ago.!

I can recommend the homepage of a friend, who has (probably) the biggest collection of scrapyard-pictures:

Oh how nice the Caddy

I saw something unusual today: a "Chrysler Ram Van".
Unfortunately I did not take a pic, as I thought that it was just a Chrysler Voyager with a fake badge until I saw that it was actually a panel van, too late to take the pic.
It is not a EU-spec Dodge Ram, but rather a EU-spec Dodge Mini Ram Van or even Dodge Caravan C/V (not sure of the year, but it looked too recent for being the first one).
I did even know that they sold that one here, and so even less under that name
I guess that they are really not common.

I just remembered something strange I saw last year in Nevada:
The big red truck is an International CXT, the world's largest pickup truck...I was somewhat surprised somebody actually bought one.

Had a quick dig through the photos, not may turned up really, I muse remember that phone=camera!
Most rare - probably getting within touching distance of the 2003 Ferrari F1 car, and touch it I did much to the disapproval of the attendant.
Saw a very nice phantom outside the Hotel Du Paris, quite a rare car even in Monaco.
Out boss turned up in this a couple of years ago when they were new. But he'd only taken it for a test drive sadly. And then only to snub Aston it turns out who'd made him wait for a test drive there! Oh to have such troubles
This was a fun ride to the church at a friends wedding. Really made a nice touch to the day! I think it was a Bedford.

The Quattroporte is such a beautiful car, one of my favorites, adorable.

Badlymad, I like the picture of the CXT. It completely towers over the Mitsubishi Eclipse!

Yesterday I was a bit surprised, when I say a Nissan Skyline (normally not sold over here in Germany) at a gas station. It had German plates, but it was the original Japanese version, RHD and with bumpers with space for license-plate in Japanese size.
In New Zealand, Great Britain and in Ireland and also Russia I've seen a lot of imported used cars from Japan, but never in Germany before (except an old Toyota Crown-taxi in a museum in Berlin).

A couple of days ago a
Volkswagen Passat CC passed me ... will be on sale coming June.
Living not too far away from Wolfsburg I have seen other pre-production models before, e.g. a Sharan about half a year before it was launched.
Some weeks ago a new Bugatti passed me and there is always a good chance to see the latest top-of-the-range Ferrari ... there must be someone living near by with a week spot for the Maranello cars and some petty cash at hand.

My brother sent me a couple of photo's of one of his neighbours cars
Always great to see an SM (and it still looks futuristic even 30+ years on.!)

It's taken me a month, but i've managed to find some of my old 80's photo's and scan some for this page. Here goe's:-
a Lagonda seen passing during the 1981 london to brighton veteran car run
It may not be exciting for all of you living in central europe, but for me in 1983 on a day trip to Bologne this Autobianchi A112 was Great.! (still is, I also like the Innocenti mini de-tomaso.!
)
from the same France (october 83) visit.
A Seat I believe?
450 sel's were fairly common, but this was the first (and last.!) i'd seen with a body kit.!
chevy el camino ss (rare in the UK) photo from 1987
..more pics soon

I was driving around one day when I spotted this pimped-out Caprcie with giant wheels and Buick-style "ventiports" on the fenders:
another one I saw at another dealership the same day. This one had racing stripes on the hood
I've seen many other modified Caprices too, some with giant wheels and others that are painted in strange colors (like lime green with purple polka dots) I don't know what it is about Caprices that makes people want to customize them so much. I mean, you never see pimped-out Crown vics, do you?
Oh yeah, here's another car I spotted one day. Probably not interesting or special to most of you, but it's ever so beautiful to me and rare too. A 1991-92 Olds Custom Cruiser
I also saw this strange looking little thing sitting in some vacant lot. I've got no idea what it is, but I'm pretty sure it's something European and wasn't originally sold here in America.
