Seen in Thurso, northernmost town on Scottish mainland, July 2023

1] IVECO racing pigeon transporter seen at Thurso harbour. West Essex racing pigeon club bring the birds up 3-4 times a year and set them loose to fly home 515 miles away. 900 birds in the van - sometime they also bring a trailer with up to 1100 more birds. Timing of release depends on suitable weather for the full route.

2] 1974 Vauxhall Magnum 1800, locally owned in Thurso. Fairly standard, with wide wheels and LED headlights. Apparently lived most of its early life in Australia as a personal import

Nice Vauxhall  My father had one in 1977 (I did not know that car, I was not born yet), that was back when Vauxhall was selling cars in continental Europe that were different from Opel models

This afternoon, when we took my wifes Astra Twintop out of the barn in the next village to prepare it for the TÜV inspection, there parked a Jensen Interceptor on the neighbours ground.

a MiTo? http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hrwAZSOWsYQ/Uaz12btbMvI/AAAAAAAAWXo/2QxnRUwEonA/s1600/2008-alfa_romeo_mito_01.jpg

15/07/2023 @ 23:27:01: Baube: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
no, an old one ( maybe 60's-early 70's ) , a really small coupe with quad headlights

It was at the same place as the still unknown little red coupe ( they were face to face at some point during the day, i had to pass there at least 2-3 times )

MiTo might be possible ( but its not what i saw ) if its LHD and is at least 15 years old , they can make it here

i think i might have found it

Drove by a local auto recycling (junkyard) this afternoon and saw a Bricklin SV-1 in the front of the yard. Made me sad.

I just left a post on a Bricklin Owners Group FB page. Maybe it can help one of their owners get parts off it before it gets crushed.

Hello everyone! Sorry if my question seems silly, but since I've never posted in this section, I'm not sure how it works here: do I need a special permission from the car's owner to post a pic or is it enough to hide the plate?
16/07/2023 @ 16:50:41: antp: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
I suppose it is enough to hide the plate, if the photo is taken in a public place.

Thanks  Let's begin with this nice 1989 Alfa Romeo 75 I've spotted yesterday evening
