GM didn't have any plants in Nova Scotia and that VIN does not match the Avalanche VINS, which would be "C13" (RWD) or "K13" (4WD) in the 5-7 places.

A VIN decoder shows that it comes up "Automotive Innovations Inc", which looks like it converts trucks for export:

So it looks like a company that would take a completed vehicle and convert them for European standards.

Looks more like an anomaly rather anything typical. We may not want to list a Chevy but a "Truck Master", as that what comes up with the VIN.

They're based on the Ducato and made in Sevel Sud, in Italy.
Does the engine origin impact the vehicle origin ??? This would mean that all vehicles using the Rover 3.5 V8 should be set with a US origin, as it was a Buick engine at first, or that some MB or BMW should have a French origin, as they use Renault or Peugeot engines...

The origin of these Sevel vans has often be a subject of debate.
Are they just a rebadged Fiat or was the project developed by both companies? (even in that case, as it is built in Italy, we could pick Italy...)

Is that code "more right" than the one currently used?

Fast checked:
- The English Wikipedia says "developed by the Sevel joint venture", without any further detail.
- The Sevel article on German WP indicates an Italian headquarter.
- The Italian WP just talks about production, for the Sevel vans, while the Sevel article gives a link to Sevel Uruguay...
- And the francophone Wikipedia is... not a fully reliable source: someone working for Fiat / a Fiat enthusiast regularly "rewrites" the articles to depict Fiat models as "the best ones of the universe"

But in all cases it appears that except for cosmetic changes, there was no difference between Fiat and PSA models for the 1994-2002 generation, Fiat, Sofim and PSA engines being in all vans, whatever the make. In fact, only the last version has separated engines, as long as this would imply a different origin. Which should be debated, all the more as the biggest engines are only Fiat ones, even for PSA vans.

I'll try to find more info about where they are/were developed.
