We should use generations for the Opel Frontera and Frontera Sport, too. The 1992-98 is [A] and 1999-04 is [B].

There is a special case for the Trooper, I guess it was requested at some point. Shall I just remove that?

Yes, please. The problem with the I & II, is that the first generation of the Trooper was - bizarrely - called Trooper II in North America, and until 1989. Then it was just Trooper.

Now that I've put a "mark" on all these entries, the american-spec ones read "Isuzu Trooper II I" which is a bit confusing. That's why I'm asking for a "Series" mark for these Troopers.

For the Frontera, is A & B really used on these?

No idea. A, B, C... is the usual way of counting Opel generations. Are they used for the Fronteras too ? Maybe at least in Germany.

Here's a small request : change the Mazda RX-8 chassis code from FE3S to SE3P.

Hello,

I have researched a lot of Brazilian Chevrolet models recently. I stumbled across the Corolla Fielder.

It was badged only as a Fielder upon viewing for sale sites. Plate checks in Brazil (found a few) only pull Fielder nameplate and do not mentioned Corolla at all.

Do we keep the Corolla name on the wagon ? It seems it was marketed as a Corolla Fielder but the evidence above seems to disprove that?

Here is a nice write up (if you can't read Protugeuse you will need google translate): https://www.noticiasautomotivas.com.br/toyota-fielder/

TBH, the Opel letters are sometimes used here to describe Vauxhalls (Corsas, Vectras etc), probably as much as - if not more than - MK numbers.

Not sure about the Frontera, wasn't it as much a restyling of an old platform much like the 2000+ Omega B2?

Could you please change the Fiat Puntos [199] that are made in Brazil to chassis code [310]?

I've had a look at my bedside website, the one that started my interest in Toyota chassis codes, and it appears you're right.

I've updated them manually, since it's just thirteen cars. The rest are Corolla Fielders, mostly JDM versions.

A small request. Put [CZ4A] as chassis code for all Lancer Evo X instead of [CY].

I have a bigger request, but I don't know if it's feasble.

It's about the second generation Honda Accord. Most of them are coded [SY] - we have 19 pages of them - but it's mostly wrong.

http://imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Honda_model-SY.html

SY was the chassis code for models with a 1.6 litre engine. But North American models had a 1.8 litre engine instead. And then they changed to a different 1.8 litre engine mid-career.

So I'd like to know if it's possible to do a mass change for all "Made for USA" and "Made for CDN" second gen. Accords. 1982 & 83 models, from SY to SZ, and 1984 & 85 from SY to AD.
06/08/2020 @ 13:24:32: antp: Mass change model info thread
Sure.
So, for Make = Honda, Model = Accord, Chassis = SY, Made for is USA or CDN,
if year between 1982 & 1983, chassis becomes SZ
if year between 1984 & 1985, chassis becomes AD
right?

The 2015-18 Nissan Pulsar C13 was even developed by Nissan Motor Ibérica, not just built there, and only for the European market. So origin is Spain, the 'Made for'- and 'Built in'-tag aren't necessary then.

2015-18 Nissan Pulsar C13 as sold in most of Europe, is sold in Russia and China under the Tiida nameplate.

The 1974-80 VW Passat Variant/Wagon/Familcar and Dasher Wagon B1 got actually the chassis code 'Typ 33' instead of of the 32.
