Scion iA is a rebadged Mazda 2 sedan, not 3

D'oh !

Still, Mazda supplying cars to Toyota seems a bit odd to me.

From what the Toyota mechanic we met at the MIAS said , its part of a trade, Mazda gaining access to Toyota's hybrid technology and Toyota getting access to Mazda's Skyactiv

Mazda are like those people you get who always have to be in a couple. They've not long got out of bed with Ford then they're getting into bed with Toyota and sharing bits with Fiat.

They really have no choice if they want to stay competitive. By partnering, they get to increase their production, which helps keep their costs down. Neither are in a position to expand their dealer networks to sell more cars themselves. I wouldn't be surprised to hear about partnerships with Chrysler now that they've announced they are discontinuing their compact and midsize car lines.

If your talking about Mazda, isn't it already (indirectly) the case with the Fiat 124 Spider / Mazda MX-5?

Next step: the 2018 conventional cab medium-duty (class 4 and 5) trucks produced in partnership with Navistar (International).

That always baffled me. If anything, Navistar should've forged a stronger partnership with Ford. After all, they're the ones that make the power stroke engines for them.

[...] It's no 159. Which seems to have been part of the styling inspiration for the front of the new Bugatti Chiron[...]

Giorgetto Giugiaro designed the 159, but in collaboration with the Alfa Centro Stile, previously ruled by Walter de Silva's (remember the 156). Who is now the chief designer for VAG... including Bugatti. He may have "left" some design gimmicks in Arese and reuse them from time to time?
(Or it's just a tribute to Giugiaro's design. As said sometime, "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" )

[...] A new model of Renault's Scenic [...]

Except the fact that it really looks like a Captur, the plate is illogical: BD-... was given in November 2010 and shouldn't be reused on a new car, even if put on a Renault at first...

Dominos pizza chains has been heavily advertising their new delivery vehicle, a modified Chevy Sonic, called the DXP.
http://www.dominosdxp.com/assets/images/fb_share.jpg

They took out the back seat and added a warming oven and can hold up to 80 pizzas. Also includes special cubbies to hold 2-litre bottles and dipping sauces and other products. There are 97 on the road right now, mostly in major markets as marketing. Wouldn't be surprised to see them end up on screen (product placement!).

Saw it too on a tv commercial but i thought it was only one of a kind, created for the commercial

Sonic wouldn't be a bad idea... a little more space means more pizzas... :huit:

Most likely a mistake.

A large part of the smileys of this forum were copied from another forum, where each user could upload each a smiley under their nickname. So most of their weird smiley codes are actually username from elsewhere, and then often unrelated to the smiley itself

I see.

Anyway, the DXP looks neat in some way.
