I'm indifferent to it... Altough if we are going to keep it I'd at least want the displayed platform to reflect where I'm accessing from. As I said before, a Crunchyroll/VRV link means nothing to me when they've region-blocked me.

It is supposed to be geolocated, but maybe there are errors. If you want I can report them... you are in Japan, right?

And for those who do not like it, as I said it is easy to blockif you have an ad-block installed.

Yes, I am in Japan... To give you an example of what it looks like, this is what I get when I open an IMCDB page for a Japanese movie, I get no results:
https://pics.imcdb.org/26179/justwatch1.jpg

However, when I search the same movie on Just Watch, I get proper streaming options for where I am:

It only seems to recognize American streaming options, as when I do similar comparisons to other shows (such as Anime) I only get American platforms and no Japanese websites.

As I said, it seems to work fine for Europe too, or at least Belgium... I'll report the problem to see what they say about it.

I can block it but it's annoying for visitors too.
Is the server cost not covered by the other ads? I will take a flexi-job at Pizzahut if necessary.

I found that more a useful info than an annoying thing.
I thought that if solutions like that could replace generic ads, it could be good.

Well it was just a chance that it worked for Belgium in the cases I tested, as indeed it is not always the case :ohwell:
Actually the free version only has 5 countries that can have their contents correctly served, others get the default (US).
I transmitted the list of major 5 countries for IMCDb, i.e. US / UK / Germany / Canada / France, but for the others it has much less interest then...
I'll keep it for testing for now, but with that limitation its interest already decreased to me

It would be a good compromise to put it below the movie comments just like you did in vehicle pages to me. It won't hurt anyone that way
24/08/2021 @ 15:32:16: antp: Site/Ad Issues
Yes but it is not very visible then. I'll try to find a way to make that more subtle...

Looks like it's working properly (for me at least) now. Have you or JustWatch changed something? It's missing several of the platforms I use, but that's a JustWatch thing I'm sure so I'll probably shoot them a message to see if they can add several more websites

Indeed they changed on their side

Today the vehicle names in the comments section appear not in bold anymore, now it's difficult to distinguish them from the movie ones... Has something on the site been changed?

i thought it was something weird on my mom's laptop because it was that way for most of the day on this one and bold like the regular version we have with my sister's ( i even had both on the same page at the same time to compare ) .

Currently its ok on my mom's one

It happened to me too earlier today, but now car names returned in bold

I was just about to ask this. No bold for me right now on my laptop on Chrome.
06/09/2021 @ 23:53:46: night cub: Site/Ad Issues
Whoops, spoke too soon, and now it's working just 1 minute later. Kooky!
07/09/2021 @ 07:24:44: antp: Site/Ad Issues
I did some changes in the CSS, normally if you force refresh the page (Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+Shift+R) it should fix it (if you do not see it in bold, it means your browser still has the old CSS in cache).
I added an ident on the movie titles, so I can easily select multiple links of vehicle pages without touching the movie links when using that extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/snaplinksplus/

now our Pontiac header is gone.. at least on my mom's laptop..

its there on my sister's

now its back on my mom's too ... funny thing is both laptops are exactly the same ( make, model, specs, everything is same.. )

After refreshing the page, it's now ok. Thanks!

 I guess it somehow failed to load it when refreshing, in such case if you try to refresh again it should come back then.
