The article is clear clickbait. There is nothing obscure about those makes. Yes, most are already listed.

2. DKW actually stood for "Dampfkraftwagen" - "Das kleine Wunder" was the name of a bicycle engine that the company introduced in 1921, nicknamed "ass warmer".

not sure exactly that i want to know why/how they earned it .. :grin:

if they want to go microcar , they forgot about Messerschmitt .. but due to their aviation history maybe they're not " obscure " enough for them..

And calling Merkur a German make.. ok, cars were German but it was created by Ford USA .. its a little bit like saying that Buick ( and Saturn in its final years ) is a German make because their lineup is made of German vehicles..

At least its the way i see it..

Edit : Trabant is not that obscure either, Alexander Ovechkin uses one to deliver pizzas when not playing... :grin:
