Wow, over eleven thousand movies listed. Have you ever wondered what the total number of movies made in the history of everything is? I'd say it's probably about 200,000... but really, what do I know?

You can add at least one zero to that number I think. Except if you only count US movies maybe...

If I am correct, the two countries that produce the most movies are India and United States. So I would guess that they would constitute the majority of all movies? Interesting though, that India makes more movies than anywhere else in the world, but I don't recall many of them being listed on the site...

United States alone has 224,677 titles listed in IMDB alhough some of them are documents or international co-productions. United Kingdom is second with 42,000 titles. Maybe surprisingly France is third with almost 38,000 titles and Germany + West-Germany combined is fourth with 36,000 titles.

But I'm positive that India and maybe even Nigeria have produced more films than any other European country. It is true that many Indian films must be missing from IMDB database.

Currently 1,039,447 titles listed of which about 50% are movies and other part is tv-series, mini-series etc. Real number of movies could be twice as big however.

When it cannot be hosted on shared web server anymore, it will require its own web server. But for that we have to find someone with time and knowledge to manage the server, and I have none of these two

There are no "pages"
What takes space are:
- the pictures (nearly 8 GB, thumbnails included; the limit is 20 on current server)
- the dynamic data, stored in the database, i.e. vehicle list (¼ of the space), comments (¾ of the space) and few other data. Currently the database uses 100 MB, limit is at 250.

I know vehicles from my country dominate this site, but there are some ACF-Brills that are erroneously listed as being from an "unknown" country.

ACF-Brills tend to be American made, since ACF stands for American Car & Foundry. I should look up more on this list.
