If I had to change right now, and buy a car myself, I'd take an "old" cheap one that I like. Like a Citroën BX for its oleopneumatic suspension or a VW Scirocco mk2. Or a XM or Saab but it would not fit in my garage (too long)
If it is to replace my current "company car", a new model then, those that I was including as future possibilities are Suzuki Swift, Citroën C2 VTS, or - if they force me to take a Diesel and/or a VW - a VW Polo.
If I can have a bigger car it would rather be a Volvo C30 or Honda Civic (the Ufo-like one )

How big are your garages? No offense but it must be somewhat small.

Good choices. I bet it'd be cool if you had a 607 or C6.

Mine is 4.40 m:
But if I keep few cm for the door, there is 4.30 m left. But that supposes that I park close to the wall, which is not easy without hitting the wall So a car that is 4m (like the 206sw that I currently use) - or less - is easier.
But as I do not close the door currently (as there is nothing else than the car, and as it is a garage inside the underground of the building where is my apartment), I could put a longer car.
You say "your garages", you mean in Belgium/Europe ? That depends on the garages. One of my colleague has enough room in his garage to put his Audi A6 + the Peugeot 406 of his wife
Good choices. I bet it'd be cool if you had a 607 or C6.
I do not like the 607, but I'd like a C6 if I had to drive only on highways (i.e. not in city like what I usually do :D)

I like my Aspen a lot but if I had to change a car I would choose a bigger one. Maybe Chrysler New Yorker or Dodge Monaco. Where else to spend money than cars ?
For everyday use I would like to have a BMW 523 or 530 [E39]. But I may have to choose older (and cheaper) one [E34].

I park close to the wall, which is not easy without hitting the wall
nice trick for this:
park as close to the wall as possible (maybe someone should show you, or simply to the touch (1 cm from the wall is enough ) - then take a tennis-ball and a string and attach it to the ceiling of your garage in the way, that it will touch your windshield in front of your eyes. Next time you will park, you simply just go and go, till you hit the ball

Good tip wickey. My father in law taught me that trick and I have used it for years. Keeps the wife from wrecking my workbench.

My house has a three car garage. Most of the houses in my neighborhood have at lease a two car, but since we mostly use our garage for storage we only have room to fit our full sized car. Fortunately we have a laundry room which gives us more garage space. Also when I said garages I meant the size in Europe, But if you have an apartment, yes space is limited.

Individual houses from borders of the city or completely outside of the city usually have big garages like that.
But in the city, where houses are side by side, garages are usually built replacing the room at the front of the ground level, so the space is limited (typical old houses are 6m wide, with 2 or 3 main rooms of 4x4,5m per floor, so if one room is used for that the garage is about 4,5m long - I wonder how people will do with these cars that are getting bigger and bigger ).
For buildings with apartments, it depends on the size of the building. Mine is one of 28, and there are about 18 places (2 with a door, others are just a space).

Next would be a 4 or 6 car garage , but some highly exclusive homes a few miles up the hill from us are 4 or 6 car including a RV garage. Use to know someone who lived there too, who's a jerk now.

Well, I have been looking at the 2007 Ford Expedition EL Eddie Bauer. I would love to have the extra space in the back, seeing as how when the PowerFold Third Row Seats are deployed there is not much room behind them for luggage. Though it will be at least a good full year from now before I get one, the 2009’s maybe out by then.

Not as fancy and exclusive as a Limited. Is there much of a difference? But like I said in other topics "Drive whatever you want to drive"
