We can't see our cars from Google earth, Even if we could I wouldn't post pictures because it can give away too much info on where you live.

Yes, I agree. That is especially true here since most of us (with the exception of ahight and Neptune) live hundreds and even thousands of miles from each other. Heck, I don't even live on the same continent as a lot of people here.
Plus, I doubt there's any predators on the imcdb forum
You don't have to be afraid Joseph. Of course, if you really don't want to reveal where you live, that's ok too

You can post a screenshot rather than a link, in such case except for someone who knows the area it is impossible to find where it is.

Mmmhh, you never know. Perhaps your mom's lovely Corolla Wagon will be stolen soon - can you be sure, that the European IMCDB-gang won't be responsible for that? Perhaps we've secretly organized a hidden transport of the Corolla by air-freight or in a faked "Bubba's shrimps"-box, which will be stored in the bottom of the "Queen Mary II". Or we will disguise it as a Dodge Viper an will drive it onboard the next car-transport to Antwerpen or Bremerhaven??
O.k., enough ideas, now I have to go outside and cut the grass. Otherwise I'll get kicks by my wife.

It's just never a good idea to casually reveal your address and other personal details over the internet (unless you're talking to someone in private via email or something), you never know who's watching. There's a lot of identity theft going on.
I only ever give my address to an individual on the internet when I've bought something off them on ebay, so they can post it to me. But I tell them through a private email, not on a public forum.
You mean you'll get a kick from your wife. In English to "get kicks" is slang for having fun or getting pleasure out of something.

I just discovered (thanks to marioman ) that you can see my house on google maps "street view" and you can also see all the cars in our driveway, and also a close-up view our white Camry parked out on the street
Sadly, I can't get the stupid link to work, all it shows is a view of the whole continent, not the zoomed in view of my street
Any help/advice on how to get it to work?
Here's the link btw,
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=37.09024,-95.712891&spn=47.167389,92.8125&z=4&om=1&layer=c&utm_campaign=en&utm_source=en-ha-na-us-google-svn&utm_medium=ha
You can also see my city's taxi garage, where there all the yellow and white Caprices and Crown Vics are parked
Unfortunately I can't provide aworking link to that either

When you zoomed/moved the view to what you want to show, click the "link" link at the top right of the map. Then it gives you a link that you can copy/paste.

This screenshot shows the parking-lot at my workplace. The gray car encircled is the 1990 Mercedes 190 E that I owned until last year. Other cars parking there: early 90s Nissan Primera estate (dark green), Volvo V40 and Opel Astra G (light gray), Opel Corsa B (turquoise).
