Yes, I collect car-literature, too. I own the biggest collection of VW K 70-literature in the world
:sol:

Some years ago, I decided to concentrate my search only on that model, so I gave away all the other stuff, I got over the years. The not K 70-related stuff was not much, I've swapped or sold it, the last years mainly at eBay.

Does rpcm also write in the forum? I don't think so. As you can read in his profile, he has also a big collection of brochues.

Ebay my friend :sol:

Although I did buy a few at the Oldsmobile Museum's gift shop.
It is located right accross the river from the skyscraper my dad works in, in fact I should go back there some time and take some pictures of the cars.
They have a beautiful selection of Oldsmobiles from ranging from 1897 to 2004. You would simply love it CCF
The reason the Oldsmobuile Museum is located here in Lansing is becuase until Oldsmobile's demise in 2004, Lansing was the official headquartes for the brand, and many factories produced Oldsmobile cars here. For this reason, it is quite common to see tons of Oldsmobiles, old and new, roaming the streets of our city.

Often the people complain, that eBay causes higher prices. This goes not for the most car-literature, which is on the market.
I made the experience, that today at eBay the prices for car-literature are much lower, than at dealers on classic-car-markets or flea-markets in the 90ies.

Sorry for slow response CCF. It's just that my parents arrived home with a new car in the middle of my posting, so I became a bit preoocupied with that as I'm sure you can understand

Anyway, more info about that topic soon

Yes, it is. In fact I saw a Caprice wagon just like today (while driving around in our "new" car), it was blue with wood paneling. But the funny thing is, it had a canoe strapped to the roof that was longer than it was

On a similar note, I saw a 1995-96 Caprice taxicab (still in use) while driving today also.

I know I thought that too. There is actually a very funny commercial I saw on TV about that exact topic, and it is even with the same car (well, it's actually a Lincoln Town Car, but it's pretty much the same as a CV  )

By the way did you say "new car" ? you have a new car now?

Well no, it is 19 years old but it is "new" to us

Anyway I'll post a new topic all about that in a moment (with pictures)

I was lucky to find a brochure for the 1997 Acura RL. It's very nice but it will lay on my desk or sometimes my floor (room can be messy  ) because I have too many books in my bookshelf. I have been studying it and have learned lots of neat stuff about my car. I plan to keep it forever. .

Nice, Joseph
You know, come to think of it, we have 8 cars, and I have 30+ bruchures, but none of my brochures are for any of the cars we actually have!
