Over the past few days, I've been struggling to get the identity of a truck corrected. This one from the old kiddie show The Banana Splits Adventure Hour was misidentified as a Ford F-Series pickup.

Not only is this not a Ford, it's not even a pickup. And there are at least three other GM light-duty trucks that are misidentified as Fords. One of them is in a thumbnail with an actual Ford F-Series, and the other is a Chevrolet G-Series van from the 1970's misidentified as a Ford Econoline.

Where is it?

I had to go through 15 pages of Econolines without years to find this one, some of which have years and year ranges that might be overlooked. In the meantime, I wish I could remember when I saw the thumbnail of the Chevy beneath the Ford F-Series.

That one (Chevy van) is even maybe not worth keeping

Here's another. It's actually a GMC Steel-Tilt Cab truck misidentified as a Ford C-Series:

For whatever reason, a lot of people are mistaking this truck for a Ford too. It doesn't even look like one.

The original picture was different and I could see how that might be mistaken for a Ford at first glance, from that angle. I can tell it's a Chevy but I could see someone else making a mistake with that pic. The pic that is there now is very obviously a Chevy.

I think there's already a post for that. Of course I saw a Ford misidentified as a Chevy fairly recently.
