Toss-up whether to put this here or on the videos page ...

Hot Wheels UK Legends Tour 2022
- selecting the UK finalist from 10 full-size customs to go forward to the global Legends Tour final where winner gets modelled in the 2023 line up.

Some impressive wackiness (Honda E with full bodykit, a 911 Targa with a turbo'd 1500cc Beetle engine and steering wheel) but none of them really floated my boat enough to care or race them round my living room carpet.

I'm not into customizing, but that's a deserved win. And I just can't see a Max Power'ed Citroën Saxo getting american votes in the final.

A question for all you collectors of small things in blister packs (eg Hot Wheels, Matchbox or whatever). Do you keep them unopened with blisters intact, or do you try to carefully extract them without damaging the packs too much so you can zoom the models round the kitchen table?

I'm a 1:43 collector, so mine almost always come in boxes/cases you can unpack easily and then repack afterwards without package damage. The only exceptions are partworks in blisters, which I try to open carefully, but it's always obvious afterwards that they've been opened. But partworks are usually cheap'n'cheerful, so it doesn't matter too much.

So what do you do with yours? Are there cunning tricks to opening blisters without damaging them??

When i was a kid ( well, ok , maybe in younger adult years too.. ) i was opening them almost faster than my shadow.. Now i keep them unopened or if i really want to open it ( Supernatural's Impala , for example ), i buy a second one so i can keep one intact and free the other from his plastic cell .

I won't lie about the fact that yep, a little part of me do want to open them all to have a closer look ..

Easy, just buy two. Keep one, open one.

Although expensive one I just keep them in card.

I threw away all the boxes growing up. I may have kept the Vanguard’s boxes but I really can’t remember anymore. Sitting quietly in the attic if that’s the case.

Due to a recurring lack of space, my 3-inch diecast cars are kept in their blister packs, and those are kept in boxes, but I try to open the blister first, as carefully as I can, just to see the car in my hands. From time to time I try to add some paint detail, but I haven't done that in years. And then they're back in their blister.

As for collectible 3-inch models sold in thick clamshell blisterpacks, mostly american ones, I make an incision on the reverse side with a hobby blade and try to pry the car out. It's a bit of a hassle, and they've lost their appeal anyway. I mostly stick with 1/43, apart from Matchbox, Hot Wheels and Majorette. And 1/87 models.

Speaking of Matchbox, the ones I find at Action are sold the vintage way: in a cardboard box. So the packaging is plastic free. But the end flaps are glued, meaning it's impossible to open them without damaging the box.

About 1/43 partwork models, they're often sold in plastic boxes these days, and those take more room than blisters, which can be stacked together when emptied.

The signs look genuine. The white ones, I don't know, but the logo is similar to the japanese postal service. The black katakana text next to it, I think that reads "speedy".

If some day someone spots a current-generation Toyota Yaris at 1:43, possibly in orange, I'm searching for one
It seems that the model does not yet exist. The GR version was announced, but it looks quite different from the normal version.

Footage of the GR Yaris can be seen in this video.

Hot Wheels has a few NSX , Integra ( as Honda ) but that's pretty much it ( if you extend to Honda itself there is the CRX and various Civic models from both Hot Wheels/Matchbox as well as some other Honda vehicles ) . Majorette ( hard to find in Québec, i don't know in Ontario ) had an early 80's Accord a long long long time ago .

i think this one is some kind of photoshopped as i saw this on only one website but would be nice if real , like a comment said " if they got the Stinger , why not this one ? "

If we go back to the original question, there is some MDX in various scales .. with various prices..

No idea if this is useful for US/CDN Honda/Acura models, but several years ago Honda UK showrooms had a small range of dealership models (cars, racers including F1, bikes various scales) probably organised by Honda Japan as I think they were made by Kyosho, Ebbro and similar. Try googling Honda/Acura US/CDN merchandise sites - you might pick up something under headings such as Collectibles or Gifts.

I've got a couple of Ebbro 1:43s "for Honda Europe" of a black NSX coupe and a white S800 convertible, both maybe 15 years old, very nicely made.

I don't - they never pop up in Scotland and I don't really do 1:64 - but I have a couple of Isuzu Hillman Minxes from several years ago

Beautifully detailed - there's also an all-black one, and another 2-tone in white over apple green.
