I'm posting this link from Wikipedia's Wikimedia Commons to invite anybody who can identify these buses:

There are a few RTS's that could be made by either GMC or TMC, and there are some others I have a few guesses about(perhaps some Gilligs and Neoplans). But I'd like those of you who know better to add your two cents.

This bus is a Scania CR 111 M from 1973, as identified by the licensplate. This is in Sweden (Västerås to be precise) and not the US btw.

The City sightseeing bus, the Hollywood-sightseeing bus and the "Half Moon Bay"-bus are British made ones. The City-sightseeing-buses are running in several towns outside the UK, also in the USA. For sure in Washington D.C. Two years ago my wife had catched a worst cold there - it was very cold, but she wanted to sit on the upper deck, to see everyting...


@atom: have you been to the Power Meet? My friend from Vesteras has invitated me several times, but until know I had no time to go there. He told me, it's very imported for him, to have two things bought a time before this event: fuel and beer.

It's a 20's station wagon in a Columbus Day parade. I can't see the inscription on the grille.

An article of 2008 says:
"The success of Mr. Toad's first vehicle, the 1929 Model A Woodie, has allowed Mr. Toad's Tours to customize more cars. This year, a total of four ten-passenger touring cars will be touring around the City with more on their way. The additional cars include a 1912 Rambler Touring Car, a 1918 Packard "Toadster", and an original 1924 Yellowstone Bus built by White Motor Company."
As the 1924 Yellowstone Bus is the only to be said "original", we may deduct the others are fake ones.

For the record, all the buses are propane-powered vehicles (LPG) or natural gas powered vehicles (CNG). As the Packard engine seemed "thirsty" (1.9 mpg / 123.79 l/100 km, if no typo!!!), it's seems to be a good idea

This logging truck is clearly an ex-military vehicle, and I suspect a GMC:

Because of the windshield shape and the sloping hood, I first thought of a bigger version of the Dodge WC9 (which had a payload of only ¾-ton), but you were right to "suspect a GMC": you can list "your" truck among its 133 twins, the 2½-ton 6X6 GMC CCKW trucks.

According to Wikipedia, GMC code was:
• C: designed in 1941;
• C: conventional cab;
• K: all-wheel drive;
• W: dual rear axles.
"Yours" could also have been a 6x4 CCW, but it's front axle is clearly visible.

This article says the tractor versions were rare.
