Great last episode. Looking forward to the finale.Indeed, it was good.
I’m concerned about the man at the CDC. I wonder why he is seen taking blood samples (or is he injecting them with something (!)) from the survivors?

I've only seen the first three episodes, which I thought were great. I will avoid this thread until I catch up

I'm not sure what that guy was doing other than tests. My favorite part in the episode was the Post-Rock like song when they left the camp with all the vehicles. I think this was the best episode so far really solid...except I liked the chase with GTO in the beginning

I loved the whole first season, but then I love the horror, murder mystery, thriller, Sci-Fi, drama/romance genres anyway. The Walking Dead fits into some of those genres.
According to AMC, its one of their biggest hits so far, starting out with over 11 million viewers. But I did read some bad news for the show, the original writers have been fired ...
"The Walking Dead fixes what isn't broken, writer purge"
... I hope that does not affect the show for the next season (though it probably will), which has already been green-lit.

Zombies cause detour on Henry highway
By Mike Morris
A zombie alert has been posted for a stretch of Ga. 20 in southern Henry County. That’s right, a zombie alert.
At East Main Street near the Atlanta Motor Speedway, filming of the AMC television series, “The Walking Dead” began Sunday and will continue through Thursday.
Traffic in both directions is being detoured off the road until 9 p.m. Thursday, according to Kimberly Larson, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Transportation. “We had to put the detour in place for them to be able to stage all the scenes that they needed to throughout that area,” she said.
The DOT had issued a press release saying the highway would be closed for road work, but Lawson said that was just to deter people from showing up to watch filming. Larson said that there are message boards, signs, barrels and cones set up to channel motorists through the detour area.
“The Walking Dead” is about a sheriff who wakes up in an empty hospital after weeks in a coma to find the world ravaged by a zombie epidemic. Based on Robert Kirkman’s comic book series, the show is shot on location in Atlanta. The second season is set to debut in October.
Although traffic helicopters found no backups caused by the detour early Monday, one motorist told the AJC’s reporting partner Channel 2 Action News he was not happy about the road closure.
“It’s a big inconvenience,” Demond Williams said. “I live right off of 20, so for me to go to McDonough, where I work, I have to go all the way around through Clayton, which is extra gas.”

Here is another article I found yesterday and it is little bit closer to my home
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Thursday, June 9, 2011

Tenants alerted about zombies
After filming on stretch of I-20 in Henry County this week, the AMC original series “The Walking Dead” lurches north soon. The popular zombie show will be shooting Monday in Cobb County, and the intersection of Cobb and Riverwood parkways, just south of Aker Mill Road, will be closed from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., according to a notice sent to nearby apartment tenants by the building management company. The notice also cautioned that “simulated gunfire” will be part of the scene.

Neptune do you think that I've forgot some cars on the highway scene? I tried to capture all the ones well visible but I can have forget something; in that case do not esitate to tell me which one(s)!
P.S what do you think of this beginning of season? I liked it, the scene with the zombies on the highway was amazing also the Rick's monologue in the church!

I think you got them all, as far as I remember.
Season two started off awesome, I think. The scene where Andrea was working on that hand gun and you could see the "herd" of zombies walking past the RV window in the background was a nice touch, and quite eerie.
The church scenes were indeed really good, Rick’s part, and what Carol said about her daughter was really moving. I just hope Andrea doesn’t run off, she is one of my favorite characters, along with Rick.

I agree 100 percent! I didn’t really like him anyway for continuing to mess with Rick’s wife after Rick appeared, or when he aimed his gun at Rick in the forest.
Lately it seemed like he was trying to redeem himself, but after this last episode, I hope a walker gets him.

It was indeed nice. But on the pregnancy test + means pregnant or not pregnant?

+ means preggers. Lori has got some explaining to do to Rick. But I suspect Rick may already know. Remember when the group went to the CDC and Dr. Jenner made them take a blood test? I think Lori’s blood test revealed early on that she was pregnant. And that was what Dr. Jenner whispered to Rick before they left. I could be wrong, but we shall see. Its getting even more interesting...
...and something’s up with that old barn on Hershel’s farm. He told Rick and the others to stay away from it. I can think of two reasons he might not want them going near that barn.

Yes, I remember the scene of the final episode of the first season that you say, maybe Rick will be the real father but in this case why Lori cries?
About Hershel's farm, he definitely hide something (or someone) inside and I have the suspect that Maggie knew the zombie in the shaft.
