Greetings to all,
I come to information,
- For "Hindustan Ambassador", It's "Origin: India" or "Origin: UK, built in india, made in IND"?
- For All "Mahindra CJ" and "Mahindra Jeep", It's "Origin: India" or "Origin: USA, built in india, made in IND"?

I think that these are historic cases like the earlier Lada or Seat, where we just used the country of the make and not the country linked to the original model.
It was easier to just put all Beetles as Typ 1 to keep them grouped (like all Golf I as Typ 17, despite convertibles should have a different ones I think), and as you said "that were made by Karmann" - there are some others...
I always wanted to know why we do not use "Typ 15" for the Beetle convertibles that were made by Karmann? They are listed as "Typ 1".

Okay, so for these vehicles, it's "Origin: India" and delete "built in india, made in IND".
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles.php?resultsStyle=asImages&yearFrom=&yearTo=&makeMatch=- 2&make=mahindra&modelMatch=1&model=&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=on&mk=&origin=- US&madein=&madefor=&role=

And "1991+" for "Tata Sierra".

Not really different from the original designs to be considered "origin India" yet...

Hi antp, there's a mistake on the site. In the US, the Passat got a facelift for the 2002 model year, but all of them are listed as 2001 on the site. There are hundreds that need to be fixed:
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles.php?resultsStyle=asImages&yearFrom=2001&yearTo=200- 1&makeMatch=2&make=Volkswagen&modelMatch=1&model=Passat&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=- on&mk=&origin=&madein=&madefor=USA&role=&page=1
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles.php?resultsStyle=asImages&yearFrom=2001&yearTo=200- 1&makeMatch=2&make=&modelMatch=1&model=Passat&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=- on&mk=&origin=&madein=&madefor=CDN&role=
There are some included above which are actually 2001 models (by plate). This includes the first 2 entries in the first link, and possibly others.
EDIT: it seems I was wrong

I believe it was a mid-year change. VW tended to buck the trend of making newer versions the next model year, which is typical for most auto makers in the US. There were two different "1999" Jettas as well.
I own a 2008 Passat, which was another year like that, there are early 2008 model year Passats and late 2008 model year Passats.

I know model years can bear little relation to real calendars but in the UK that facelift of the Passat was introduced in late 2000.

It seems you're right, night cub... I didn't realise there were two different 2001 models.
Here in Australia the facelift arrived in May 2001.

According to this site, the newer 2001 were dubbed "New Passat", but probably just for advertising purposes:

All BMW i8 should have the chassis code [I12]. Note for the future: the 2018+ Roadster has the code [I15].

Chassis-code "[F67]" for all Dacia Dokker...
As usual, can you please give a source?
• Both codes unsourced, but French Wikipedia says that the F67 is only for the Dokker Van, the code of the standard Dokker being K67;
• The F67 code is also used by L'Argus for the Dokker Van (fr) , while the standard Dokker and the Dokker Stepway use indeed the K67 model code (both codes unsourced too, but L'Argus is a well known auto magazine/site founded in 1927).
So it's certainly more accurate to set the model code as:
• F67 for all Dokker Van and Dokker Express (but this code seems to be already present for the Express. I'll add the code manually for the Van models);
• K67 for the rest of the Dokker ("NOT IN" research is not possible in the search page, sorry ).

I'll do the change, but we could also have continued to use X67 for the whole Dokker range, as a few were already listed that way (Renault uses/used X as generic letter for all body styles of a model).

My apologies. As all Dokker Express and at least one Dokker Van had the F67 code, I didn't relate it to a Renault code (K for "Break/MPV" and F for "Monospace société", indeed)...
