I've always considered the first generations of the Wagon R as MPVs rather than hatchbacks, given their height and interior volume.

I would like to know for the "2005+ Toyota Tacoma", the origin is USA or origin is Japan built in USA and made for USA?

Company is French, but it is not clear that they conceived the car, it seems they just sold it.

If Wiki is to be believed, the design work was mainly done by Hino in Japan.
