I made a mistake when doing a test, and lost the comments table of the database

So I'll recover the backup from this night.
So what was added/changed in the last 12 hours is lost.

I'll try to recover only comments, so no vehicle or pic would be lost

Done...
But all comments posted after 3:33 AM (CET) were lost

And now I see that all extended characters (accents) where not correctly imported.
I'll have to re-import, sorry for those who posted in the meantime...

That's annoying, how do we know something like this won't happen again? It's a good thing I didn't add a movie with lots of thumbnails at that time but I know others did and had to repost their comments.

There is always a risk.
Here it is 100% my fault, I should have either checked more carefuly what I was doing, or first do a test on the test database.
There is a backup daily at 3:30 AM CET, so in the worse case one day of data is lost.
Next time I'll either make a backup first, or test first...
