This car, my brother-in-law has sold last weekend, will appear in a movie soon (filmed in Belgium):

Unfortunately it will be blown up, as the byuer has said :ohwell: Unfortunately, because it's a real rarity - only two of these were used in Germany as police-patrol-cars.

As I'm unable to do contributions, I would be very pleased, if someone could upload this music-clip at the database

I'm Ok to do it, if no one already did. If I'm not mistaken, no background cars for video-clips?

no random traffic/parked cars, but if cars are used as scenery on purpose they are acceptable (e.g. luxury cars in rap clips :D)

Similar to Ingo's brother's old 318i, I mentioned this on another thread...

Not really a genuine siting, but the red Hyundai seen briefly in this trailer was sold to the production by a friend of mine who worked for a used car place at the time. It was one of three they bought for the film, though the EX54ZGP plate is from the one from my friend's dealership:

Ford says it is "available Spring 2015", so it should appear in some TV-Series and movies within a few months.
Say hello to the new face of the 2016 F-650/F-750 Super Duty trucks.

In addition of the AM General HMMWV and the Hummer (H1) we should soon start to see AM General Humvee C-Series (or "Civilian"), as it seems they produce it under that name now.

Chevy is returning to the medium-duty truck business.

"General Motors is returning to the medium-duty truck business in the US for the first time since 2009 thanks to a new deal with longtime-partner Isuzu. The arrangement brings the low cab forward Isuzu N-series models to Chevrolet dealers with the Bowtie's branding on them in 2016.

There are six medium-duty Chevy models arriving at dealers in regular cab and crew cab bodies: the 3500, 3500HD, 4500, 4500HD, 5500, and 5500HD. The trucks will be sold as a bare chassis for buyers to outfit to their needs. Depending on model, customers will have the choice of an Isuzu-sourced 3.0-liter and 5.2-liter diesel engines or a 6.0-liter V8 gasoline-fueled engine from GM and six-speed gearbox. According to company spokesperson Bob Wheeler to Autoblog, the diesel models will be built in Japan and the rest assembled from knockdown kits in Charlotte, MI."

Read in the humveec-series.com site:
Posted by HUMVEE C - SERIES on Jun 1, 2015 in Blog:
The HUMVEE C – SERIES plant, located in Vassar, Michigan, has launched into prototype building in preparation for the official start of production (SOP) date. This all important date for the C – SERIES is set for July 15th of 2015.[...]

From what I read, it was scheduled to be sold as kit car, and the buyer would have had to find an entire powertrain for it (i.e. engine, transmission, etc.)...
The kit will certainly be available, but an already mounted truck can be bought too: the 2015 prices for the 2 first models are $167,000 and $185,000 (€147,000 / £105,500 and €163,000 / £117,000). As said just above, this is for a complete truck with its powertrain, but it's a bit more than the $60,000 scheduled for the naked kit in 2102!!! Expensive toy...

Maybe useful for future identifications:
3 models are apparently available;
• seen thanks to the cache of a pictures search engine (the website apparently no longer uses it):

I don't know how reliable is that photomontage: the rear view of the C-Series don't match exactly the ones shown in the factory pictures, on which the make logo says AM General. Was this make replaced by the Humvee one for the civilian customers?

Likely to be seen in French movies soon and replacing the Laguna is the Renault Talisman. Like all big Renaults this won't be offered in the UK, and will probably only be 'sold' in any meaningful numbers to French cabinet ministers who don't like the Peugeot 508 or DS5.

Looks like a facelifted version of the Citroën C5
Apparently, it's aimed at replacing both the Laguna and the (almost never sold) Latitude.

Ugly thing. I wonder why they bother.

Certainly not for the Latitude part, but for the (European sized) "big family car" Laguna one: Renault is not yet ready to abandon this market, despite its obvious decline. Most certainly just a matter of time: everybody is aware that even if Laguna/Talisman, C5 or 508 try to "premiumize" like the German cars, it don't really works...

And more prosaically, stopping the Laguna/Talisman would also have meant getting rid of a huge part of the 4650 workers of the Sandouville plant, which would have sound a bit messy after the 7500 job cuts already scheduled in the Competitiveness agreements of 2013...

When it comes to tooling up for RHD they don't...

Same goes for the new Espace.

To me it isn't bad - looks much better than 508 (which is better than 407), but it is too "heavy" and "muscled", this way there is not much of French car here. Even the Korean Latitude was more "renaultish".

It is sad what happens to D-size cars, a part of market where French and Italian auto industries had in the past a lot of popular and classic models. Now PSA even isn't sure if there will be successor of Citroen C5.
