GM announced today that they are closing several North American plants, which most likely means the end of the line for the models built in them. The plants are the Lordstown, Ohio plant that builds the Chevy Cruze, the Detroit-Hamtramck, Michigan plant that builds the Chevy Volt, Chevy Impala, Cadillac CT6 and Buick Lacrosse, and the Oshawa, Ontario plant that builds the Chevy Impala and Cadillac XTS.

It's also to read that the POTUS will prohibit that GM-plans

Probably the sentence I've read the most often in 2018...

It's what happens when he makes promises that he can't possibly keep. Liar-in-Thief, I mean Chief. Maybe he can use magic to make people buy sedans again?

"Sorry, this content is not available in your region."

Probably the sentence I've read the most often in 2018...

Depending on your browser, maybe could you install a specific add-on to use proxies (here for Firefox, here for Chrome, here for Opera. None for Safari? Apparently no search available for Edge...)?
Or you could also use a VPN, although it's a bit more tricky to settle and certainly an oversized response to such problems?

Soon in movies across Asia, but not Japan, the all-new Toyota Hiace.

https://www.motor1.com/news/305773/2019-toyota-hiace-revealed/

It's now a bonneted van, like the Sprinter, Crafter, Transit, and basically all of today's Europe-bound vans, but Toyota doesn't mention launching it in Europe, even though it boasts "highest level of safety in its class, equivalent to five stars in the Euro NCAP."

Instead, this new HiAce will be focused on emerging markets. And Australia. But not Japan, who will keep the current "cabover" H200 Hiace.

I think the European market segment is already filled by the ProAce / ProAce Verso (badge-engineered Sevel van) that already sells reasonably well (in Norway at least) which explains why Europe is excluded. Personally I hope it stays that way, it's hideous.

Yes, there's already the ProAce in Europe, but nothing in the size above, the Sprinter/Crafter/Ducato/Boxer/Jumper/Master/Movano/NV400 class. Even Hyundai has one of these big vans, with the H350. I'm surprised Toyota hasn't got a competitor. Maybe this new Hiace could fill the gap.

Unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the Citroën Bulldog Ami One Concept:
https://www.leblogauto.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Citroen_Ami_One_Concept.jpg

Officially just a concept car, for now, but already promoted as part of a car sharing system. Any similarity with PSA's Free2Move service would be purely incidental

Also in Geneva:
- The new Renault Clio:

- The new Peugeot 208:

Soon not to be seen, Infiniti in Western Europe. Weak sales, lack of electric/zero-free/low emissions vehicles and Brexit are to blame, sales have dipped below 6000 vehicles for all of Europe last year. This also kills off a model for the rest of the world, the QX30 and the European Q30. Production winds down in July and Infiniti expects to exit Western Europe in early 2020. They will focus more on North America and China, and smaller markets in Eastern Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

IIRC I've seen one made for EU Infiniti (not from an US GI) some months ago.

Their European homepage:
https://www.infiniti.eu/

About Infiniti in Europe says Wiki
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infiniti#Markteinf%C3%BChrung_in_Europa
(sorry, not on English available), that there are four dealerships in Germany and one in Austria, and that they try to sell their cars with Diesel-engines here.

Das erste Sondermodell der Marke ist der Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel, das von einem 309 kW (420 PS) starken Motor angetrieben wird. Der Preis des in Kleinserie hergestellten Modells ist nicht bekannt.[6]

"The first special edition of this brand is the Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel, powered by a 420 hp engine. The price is not known."

The Q30 was based on the recently replaced Mercedes A-Class. Suspect the writing was on the wall when the planned replacement based on the new A-Class was spiked.

Yes

"Third generation (N18; 2019–present)
The third generation Nissan Versa sedan was unveiled on April 12, 2019 at the Rock the Ocean's Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States, one week before its public debut at the 2019 New York International Auto Show.[2] Sales will begin in the third quarter of 2019, for the 2020 model year. It is still based on the Nissan V platform, which is shared with the fifth generation Micra."
