Was that generation sold in Canada? We didn't get it in the US, which is why I didn't recognize it.

The last one we got was the S14. According to Wiki, the S15 was only sold in Japan, Australia and New Zealand

Both Sunbeam Rapiers. First one is 1959 S3 or 1961 S3a (externally identical, but S3a had 1592cc upgrade from 1494cc and added cabin trinkets). Second is 1955 S1. Both are things of rare beauty, and nice sightings in Italy. From the family album??

Thank you very much, dsl
Yes, but not mine but a friend's family album. I was sure they were 50s or early 60s English cars but I don't really know the subject. Anyway, they were owned subsequently by the same person.
The plate of the newer one is from March 1960, so an S3.

Another question, any idea about the red car behind the Fiat 126? (picture received from a friend who found it on the web)

Austin/Morris 1300 Countryman/Traveller - can be 68+ Mk2 or 71+ Mk3 on what's visible - I'm not going to try to guess which is most likely in Italy. Innocenti never made ADO16 estates, so UK build and the agreement must have allowed some UK-sourced sales of versions not assembled in I. Slight possibility of Authi build, but I don't think they were allowed to sell outside Spain before all UK ADO16 builds stopped in mid-74, after which Authi were allowed to try selling into eg Denmark, Greece for a couple of years.
