- accepts UK registration or VIN number, and tells you what it was. I tried a handful of numbers and seems to work, although did not recognise one of them. So up for grabs for anyone else to give it a go. Would be interesting if folk reply with whatever failures crop up so we can get a feel for what its boundaries might be.
Your link sends me to the Swedish site and it seems to work fine for Swedish numbers. Didn't work for my '51 or my friends '65 though. It needs the 17 digit VIN.
It should work for all European Ford VINs after about the early nineties, some countries will allow you to search by plate. It also works for some Jaguars and Land-Rovers.
