IMCDb's Most Wanted List
Published 24/01/2020 @ 23:09:34, By kegare
Let's make this topic for rare movies/TV Shows that are missing from IMCDb. Post your request here. (No piracy discussion, please)

I will start. Looking for The Golden Lady/Los Angeles De Fuego:

https://i.imgur.com/uiT3z2q.jpg
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079224/

I was checking IMDb for car related keywords and when I saw this cover I knew it had to be either already uploaded to IMCDb or very rare. I couldn't find it anywhere so, if someone can track down a copy it would be interesting to see its entry.

More to come, feel free to post yours and let's make a list.

Looks like the DVD can be ordered at TCM:

As it's manufactured on demand, it probably will not be a great copy of it.

On the Line (TV Series (1982– )

The struggles of an independent British car manufacturer, Associated British Motors.

13 episodes produced, but no track of it. Can anyone get this show?

Trivia:

The prop cars used were altered mk1 Ford Fiestas and known in the series as the "ABM Orbit" the cars (of which there were two) were allegedly offered as prizes for viewers through TV Times magazine - the fate of the cars is unknown

I've looked for that before without success.

Similarly this: https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0400058/ is difficult to find, though there is a bad quality version on YouTube that's in an incorrect ratio.

Can anyone track down the full version? I'm afraid the quality won't be great but it has quite a few unique looking vehicles in it.

California Fever - TV Mini-Series (1979) contains customized cars and even custom built from scratch. Only one vehicle seen in a short Youtube clip is currently listed on IMCDb.

This Trans Am was also used in the series.

Coast to Coast (1980)

This movie used to play pretty frequently on the cable networks back in the 80s. Dyan Cannon stars as a woman who escapes a mental institution in NY to get back to California to confront her husband who had her committed. She hitchhikes and a trucker picks her up. We only have one vehicle listed, the truck. But the end of the movie involved a long chase scene that ended with the truck plowing into a Porsche 911 and into the husband's house.

"Blood on our Hands" is simple. I can get that in 5 minutes.
3.44GB DVD or 1.60GB mkv rip.
None of the others.
Do you want an invite to the site it's on @atom? I could also do the movie myself some time.

"240-Robert", a TV drama series from 1979-1981 in Los Angeles. Cancelled after two seasons. Created by Rick Rosner, same creator of the much more successful series CHiPs.

Nearly impossible to find, official DVDs or other releases don't seem to have ever been produced, or have long been out-of-print if they ever were produced. Some very low quality footage of the opening and parts of one episode can be found on YouTube.

I created an entry for it on IMCDb some time ago with the intention of completing the series if I could ever find full episodes, which I never did. If somebody does find it, please let me know, I'd be very eager to complete the series.

The trailer and cover art show a lot of interesting cars (some of them uploaded by walter). It is known that a VHS tape is in existence but has no one uploaded it in a digital format anywhere?

I would recommend doing a Yandex video search for the Russian titles of these movies (can be found on Kinopoisk)
I have found quite a few movies that way that I previously couldn't find.

I was just looking at the IMDB page for Marj Dusay, an actress who just died. While known for soap operas, I recall her from her many, many TV show appearances in the 70s. One of her titles listed was this one:

https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BMDI5OGY0ZDgtODZiMi00ZDMxLTkzYTQtNGY4MmE1MGNjYzM3XkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyMjcyMDU4NA@@._V1_SY1000_CR0,0,632,1000_AL_.jpg
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077099/

We have just one car listed, that looks like it came from another website:
http://imcdb.org/movie_77099-Wheels.html

But I'm now intrigued by this. Arrhur Hailey is known for Airport and Hotel. EP is Roy Huggins (The Fugitive/Rockford Files/Hunter/Baretta).

Yummy cover art.
Great find, but sadly another lost one, it seems. Unless someone has actually recorded this, it only had 5 ep. according to IMDb. These short lived TV series are the hardest to track down.

As it seems the DDR Verkehrsmagazin was not saved for the history.
I watched most episodes of the late 80ies.
It was informative - and sometimes very bizarre

https://youtu.be/c6FVSLl8s7A

https://youtu.be/5ynxQF3pd-I

https://youtu.be/keJD15WL_t4

https://youtu.be/LU8BH2A5ZHs

attention, this
https://youtu.be/1fJgF5X7Pk8
is a West German persiflage

and a Swedish reportage about visiting the DDR:
...sorry, cannot copy the YT-link :disapointted:
...
annother try:
https://youtu.be/SpQxb4NHH4c

P.S. on Thursday, the 9.11.1989, I had a bad cold with fever, but before I want to go in bed, I wanted to watch the new episode.
But when I switched on the TV, there was just
https://youtu.be/JbzhHGcEz-E
- I became angry, switched off and went asleep (very early, but I was ill).
