Took a few pics from the movie Alien Nation I have on DVD, after I got rid of the black borders I ended up with a funky 2.20(!) aspect ratio....but the pics don't seem to be distorted other than being very wide. Most of the driving scenes are at night so most are dark but I snapped a few cars of interest I think.

Nice pics, but two of those "Caprices" are actually Impalas. I believe that Kenworth might be a T-600.

The right ratio is probably the usual 2.35, but the different is not very big anyway

Just a question: How can you tell the specific years on some of those cars, especially the Impalas and the Grand Marquis?

I think they are just guesses, the LTD also being one, as that style went from 1982-86, no way to tell 1985 specifically.
The Impalas are both 1981-85 models
The Pontiac is actually a Bonneville from 1977-79
The Tempo is an 1984-86
The Mercury Gr Marq is a 1983-85
And the Olds Cutlass is a 1982-1986

Yeah I just took guesses on some of them, the Imperial, Olds Delta 88 Satellite etc, I'm pretty sure of the year though. I thought those Impala's might have been Caprices but again I wasn't 100% sure.
