Wonder how many other A2s are in Japan, given that they were never officially available...

Seen today (but didn't take a photo as I was driving): a Peugeot 505 with Pre-1998 plates casually parked on the side of the road.

Well, indeed I've seen much worse than that  it's mostly the paint that has seen better days, but it's a 31 years old red.. anyway, it's a 1990 example in basic trim, year range was 1989-92, and those are its optional alloys (on higher trims) with typical Lancia design of that period  also, there's its nephew in the background

Back from a week in Estonia. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of cars except for one.
As usual there were lots of US spec Japanese cars and commonly grey imported modern pickups and SUVs, but I was holding out for the duller 80s/90s US cars that you would once find in the country. The best I could find until then was a US-spec LeSabre.

But on our last day, I got my wish:

 my parents bought a brand new V40 back in 2004, they still use it as a second car. Eventough they care for it and wash it regularly and lots of touch up paint, it won't stop to rust! Seriously bad quality on those cars.

No pics because I was driving, but on Friday, I went on a shopping trip around the city of Mons, Belgium, to see if retailers had stocked on decent scale models on the run-up to Christmas (spoiler alert : they didn't, and I came back with only two Hot Wheels).

However, lots of interesting things to see on the road. Mons is close to the SHAPE, and US-spec cars abound. Highlights ? TWO identical 2008-09 Ford Tauruses in white, a JDM Toyota Caldina GT (the fancy Avensis twin) and a Euro-spec Corolla AE86 fitted with a JDM Sprinter Trueno grille, running on oldtimer plates.

Oh, and six Dodge Rams of various model years on the way back, but that's become usual here.

I've seen this car a few times before, but never managed to take a decent pic, until today.

That's a TagAZ Aquila, I hear you say. But no, this is its french-made successor, the MPM PS 160 ! Or MPM Erelis, if it has a Peugeot engine instead of the old Mitsubishi unit.

Supercar looks for Dacia money... and french "sans-permis" quality, apparently.
