saw in the recent days, early 80's VW Double Cab , a camper one, 1957 Bel Air convertible ( might have it in my car show pics ) and today, pre-facelift JDM Mitsubishi GTO ( missed my shot at it, i was in a hurry and mistaken it for an US 3000 GT )

not a car itself but i did not wanted to put it in Soon in movies as it will only be one and i can't even find info on this . It was taken on my street near the local park , i did not saw anything unusual yet but.. maybe tomorrow...

1992 Fiat Uno Rap (with replaced bumpers, this edition should have painted ones)

1999 VW Polo in an interesting colour, very rare in Italy but probably less rare abroad, and indeed this one was imported from Germany (it has a 2001 plate)

OMG the Fiat Uno Rap ! I remember the TV adverts from the time. I was on holidays in Italy with my parents in the summer of 1991 and that stupid advert was on all the time.

I think there was a guy and a girl rapping the whole thing, and the ending was "Uno Rap, Uno Rap, Uno Rap, Rap, Rap!"

I remember that Polo colour! When I was growing up every Polo that shape seemed to be that colour, though I mostly remember it on the earlier ones with amber indicators.

That aqua green was one of the preferred colours during the launch of that Polo, along with a light green metallic and a peach/apricot colour. Press shots, brochure photos, and the first cars delivered to dealerships were often in these two shades of green.

And then actual customers ordered their actual car, and in Belgium, more often than not, it came in that slightly purplish dark blue, or in a rather dull metallic grey. And the launch colours faded away from the streets...

It's like the early Citroën DS3 painted in Bleu Botticelli (a.k.a. swimmming pool blue). I saw two of them in the first year, and then nothing. Just vanished.

Yes, I remember official photos and press cars in this colour, but I remember seeing very few actual cars in such shade, even years ago. As you say many, many Polos were in that medium/darkish grey.
I still see some C3/DS3 in the, nice in my opinion, Botticelli Blue

Obviuosly in good running condition - with around 140 km/h on the left Autobahn lane.

recently seen : 1996-1999 VW Jetta ... can't believe it can be posted here ( no pics .. ) as an interesting/special sighting after all the ones you could see in the 90's-2000's but its becoming a kind of rarity around here...
