Yes, the picture is definitely Cuba, but is that a Crown Victoria I see there? Sure looks like one. If so, I wonder how that got there?

It appears to have a black license plate, which would make it an embassy car, probably from Canada or the US Special Interests Section.

New American cars haven't been sold in Cuba since 1959 due to the US trade embargo.

Yes and No. In 1999 I was on vacation in Cuba and detected this 1st Neon. It´s got a yellow plate such as all private vehicles in Cuba had.

Nice to see old yank tanks from the forties and fifties still around! yet, the black sedan above has modern, cheap plastic wheels, and the majority of these cars have Lada engines. The best way to run them daily maybe, but it's just wrong! LOL

Modern American cars in Cuba. I'm wondering if they could be grey imports from Mexico, as they can't come directly from the USA.
