[...] In reality "kg" should always be lowercase (K is for Kelvin degrees, k for kilo) but I don't know how Renault spelled it.
(All brochure covers come from lesrenaultdepapier.fr)
It appears that nothing was really set, at least at the beginning:
1946 | 1947 | 1948 |
1949-52 brochures:
1953 | 1954 |
But from 1955 onward, the brochures seem to only use the SI symbol (kg):
1955 | 1956 |
1957-63 brochures:
No brochure available for 1961 & 1962. 1964 & 1965 brochures don't show the payload.
Maybe should we use kg for the whole production, for consistency?

Maybe should we use kg for the whole production, for consistency?
Seems OK to me... I suppose a simple replace of Kg by kg in all Renault model should not have any side-effect
(not a common letter combination in other words)

Toyota:
We decided some time ago to use only Jx0 codes and not the first-letter or the last number variants as it was impossible to identify accurately in most of the case. Also, it has not much interest, these codes are more useful to regroup generations when model names exist across many years.
Logan:
2013+ models must be checked one by one, as the first generation didn't stop in 2012

Just a reminder for anyone who came across with New Look Buses. They were nicknames given to GM & Flxible NOT model names. (But if no one can tell the model name, we can use the nickname instead)

I always wanted to know why we do not use "Typ 15" for the Beetle convertibles that were made by Karmann? They are listed as "Typ 1".
