Elva Courier story here. This looks like a Mk1 with split windscteen - Mk2 had single pane curved screen. MGA 1489cc motor, a big proportion of early production went to US, following a block order by Walter Dickson of Continental Motors, allegedly the whole of first year production, very successful in SCCA with reputation as giant slayers - Mark Donahue was an early campaigner.
AH 3000 looks like Mk1 - not a 100/6 (badges, no ridge along top of bonnet vent). Probably a 2/4 seater.

No, it's something self-cobbled, note the front window frame. And you can see, where the C-pillar was cutted.
If an original Karmann, it would be a 1968-1970 1500. After 1970 all VW Cabriolets had the higher McPherson front, because they were 1302 or 1303.

Opel Photoshop Edition?? Is it real?? Looks like red parts are Opel Manta [B] with extra door, wheels also look Opel. Cabin looks a bit Avengerish, but a tweaked C-pillar and a hatch which makes me think of Chrysler Sunbeam. The thick C-pillar looks unreal.

A friend of mine found it on a Facebook group, it is said to be a period picture, but the more I’m seeing it the more I agree with you. Someone must be in the mood for jokes..

Couldn't find anything on internet, is there any info about this car?
I remembered there was a post about some Mercedes prototypes on instagram a few weeks ago but seems deleted

As it has a Swiss plate, I'd not go for a prototype. Rather some private conversion. In Switzerland were some small manufacturers for such things.
Not something by the Swiss GM factory, as it already was closed in the late 70ies.

Ask a Mercedes expert, what's the abbrevation for EZW on the internal plate.
I cannot find anything by googling.
